The Point Resort

Our unit was very clean, well designed to maximise space, very pleasant decor, good security and great location.

Nothing we didn't like.

Location. The views. Size off appartment

The shower curtain in the mainensuite bathroom. Should of had a glass wal.

Bright & airy.

Pool nice however wasn’t keen on the location & lack of subbeds. Also, the TV was very small.

Nice location

The bed was not very nice as it had a hole in the middle of the bed and we both ended up in the hole when I told the staff member she laughed and said they that’s something they will be looking at getting new beds

It was a good size and comfortable. It was sound proof.

The toilet roll holder was broken and the shower door won’t shut because the plastic at the bottom seems to be too wide. The cutlery was sparse and not matching. We had friends over for a meal and had to use the cutlery from our picnic set.

Location is excellent minutes from main beach & basin one way and cafés & eateries the other.View from our top floor apartment was fabulous, and A/C in bedrooms was a plus.

Unfortunately the stay was mainly spoilt by worst sleep comfort experienced since the days of cheapo backpacker stays - suggest upgrade aged bed/mattress where needed (we were in your "Executive apartment" afterall!)The Pool area is tired and could do with some love, the pool water appeared a bit murky so not enticing you to use. A tad disappointing for a resort. Construction of the large new complex next door is not ideal, the area is swarming with tradies but fortunately our apartment was a bit further away from it so weren't too impacted by noise.

The room was clean and comfortable.

Could have done with a blanket.

Everything, rooms were great, had all facilities needed for a great stay. Kids loved the pool, mini golf and table tennis. Great views of the ocean and walking distance to anything.

Only concern was the shower floor was really slippery.

Location was fab..just a few mins walk from the beach and esplanade.

the room facilities - one recliner was not working, shower gel was missing.

Location excellent, apartment fantastic with everything you need for a comfortable stay, spotlessly clean.

The bed

Location was perfect. Walking distance to cafes, shops & beach & playground.

Nothing in the kitchen was clean. We had to wash everything before we could use it. There was food left from the previous occupants in cupboards.The receptionist was very rude, unfriendly & unhelpful at check in. The pool looked dirty & water was very murky. For that reason we didn’t use it.

Apartment was lovely and clean and had everything we needed . The kitchen well stocked with plates ,Cutlery etc for a long stay . View and proximity to the cafes and restaurants was spot on

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Provided excellent information on places to visit and activities in the surrounding area. Facilities and location were both excellent. Would recommend others to stay here.

We had a great stay at the point. Great location. Clean rooms.

Some of the fun I tire needs updating and the kitchens could go a bit more equipment, however didn’t impact our stay. Will still return.

Location to beach & restaurants. Apartment clean & tidy.

Didn't dislike anything

Great location. Very comfy bed.

Bathroom needed a good scrub with bleach and grout scrub.

On the whole, a good...

The unit could do with a deep clean, especially the carpet. the outdoor furniture is very rusty and needs replacing and the dryer was not working.

Well appointed easy access to beach and Bargara village

Nice place stay for young families. Staff pleasant and accommodating

Facilities in room a little tired. Room had an odd odour which no amount airing cleared.

The location and view were very good

Non fitted sheets on the bed. Main bathroom was not suitable for us - shower over a spa bath?? It's obviously in need of updating. Chipped crockery and unmatching cutlery.
