Tenterfield Motor Inn

Location and break fast included

Only windows are in front of room where cars are parked

Room was clean and tidy upon arrival. AC worked well, bathroom clean great hot shower after a days travelling. Free continental breakfast delivered to your room the night before. I really appreciated that cos I like to get on the road early.

UHT MILK IN TINY PORTIONS never enough, Shower curtains

Staff were friendly, spacious room.

The bed was terribly uncomfortable.

So very clean and tidy. Walking distance 10 minutes to town. The staff were lovely, and went out of their way to help... We forgot our cards, and asked if they had any.... one of them turned up at our door with a brand new packet! Very grateful, for such a simple gester. There are BBQs available and undercover parking. We paid $145 for the night, including breakfast (Which was the only little thing, we felt mis-leaded as it said incl. Breakfast) this is a lite Continental Breakfast, which for those that dont know what that is.... Cereal, Toast and Juice. ( I imagined Breakfast would of been bacon n eggs, and toast). You can buy meals, direct from reception with room service, which are freshly cooked and delivered. Thank you, for your hospitality, may you all have a wonderful year.

Online, it states Breakfast - upon arrival, the lovely lady asked what cereal we would like? There was no mention of this being a lite - continental breakky online thats all. It wasnt a big deal, ill know for next time. We still ate the cereal and toast with delicious spreads.

Great room n friendly staff continental breaky was a bonus

Staff very welcoming, location to our needs ideal & included breakfast excellent

Car parking a bit tight with large Ute

Clean & comfortable Breakfast included

The room was clean yet clearly unfinished.

In reception no skim milk or any other alternative reception area reeked of curry. The room appeared to be roughly finished. Advertised they had room service but nothing offered when questioned was given incorrect directions to restaurants in town. Bathroom appears unfinished and the sensor light in the bathroom is annoying no light switch to turn the light on is available. I’ve stayed in a lot of motels over the years and this is not what I expected.

The room was spacious and clean. They offer a free light breakfast with bread, cereal and juice, which is delivered the night before. They have an evening room service menu (but I didn't try it).The hotel is close to the centre of town, right on the highway.

I could hear occasional trucks rumbling along the highway.

Excellent location and clean and good nights sleep

Continental breakfast was good but I do not recommend lunch and dinner. 5 mins walk into town has better options.

Was convenient to the town centre.

The shower was filthy and mouldy.TV needed 2 remotes to turn on.

Upgrade and English speaking staff...

The reception staff spoke no English, the room barely fitted the bed, room was dark and dated, bathroom shower recess in serious need of replacement.

rooms clean and spacious

The beds were clean but so uncomfortable very hard

The room was large and clean. It was old, but to be expected. The bathroom was renovated. Luxury towels, awesome customer service and a generous free continental breakfast delivered to our room.

Check in was a little slow but only because the manager was off-site and we weren't bothered by that given the small town location. The reception was manned, but by someone who didn't know how to book in guests.

Its a great place to stay. But the rooms attached to the Office / check in are very old and dated. Have used this motel a number of times and the other rooms not attached to the office were more modern and great value. Free breakfast is a bonus

Room 6 very old and dated.

The breakfast was great everything you needed and delivered the night before we had to leave early the next morning so that was very helpful.

No honey ,peanut butter or Vegemite

Was very easy to get to and the room was clean and comfortable and had everything we required.

Everything was good

We are pretty happy with a comfortable bed and basic amenities. The breakfast was good.

The room did not receive a daily service. The poor guy at reception spoke minimal English so had to keep ringing his sister to answer questions. I had to ring to get our room serviced on day 2, the bed wasn’t made which is fine but I e had a full bin and needed soap and toilet paper. The hotel blurb does not say that. We are so not fussy and we can tolerate most things and would stay again but would not be able to recommend this place to friends.

We had a spacious unit off the road which was away from traffic noise. The accommodation was clean and well equipped.

The staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and very helpful. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The continental breakfast served each day was lovely, fresh and very enjoyable. The location was fantastic – close to town and within easy walking distance to everything, while still being quiet at night. I couldn’t fault our stay at all.
