Proximatey to beak and lake, cabin
Door locks on main bedroom and bathroom were damaged and didnt work or got jammed in locked position. Security and glass sliding doors needed adjusting, so we had to lift them to latch shut.
Easy access, apart from all the internal speed bumps
Location of glamping tents next to busy roadway, loud at nighttime
No breakfast
The bunk bed on the floor. Might be okay for children but a little difficult for a 77 year old. The shower rose was not the best.
It was tiny, you couldn’t open the toilet/shower door completely as the door hit the toilet & the shower was tiny.We had rain one night that came under the front door. Great location but unit needs work
Lovely and quiet. Close to the beach and lake. Dog friendly
Wifi didn’t work. No fan in 2nd room. Looked like there was a tv in the 2nd room but has been taken down. Holes in fly screen so unable to have window open due to mosquitos.
Bed was comfy, staff were friendly and helpful
No bathroom in the cabins , no toilet or shower . Also had a bit of a weird smell
This place was amazing for the location and pretty cheap for the basic cabin (beds, kitchen, tv). Located directly next to lake Ainsworth and the beach so it was lovely to dip in the lake every morning and walk on the beach! Also a very short 10-15 min drive into Byron Bay main area. Staff were lovely and check in/out was super swift and simple. Toilet/shower facilities were very well kept.
Some WHS concern. We were not able to use AC in our cabin as it smelled terribly of mildew and was very clearly covered in mould inside the duct (fairly unsafe). Also quite obvious the cabin had seen better days (fairly creaky water damaged floors).
the position was beautiful with the background of trees and bird life. Camp kitchen was nicely designed and clean.
I was in C4 . I think a gate to access out to lake and beach would be nice.
Great location, sounds of surf. Very clean. Good towels and sheets. Kitchen good, bathroom small but fine. Shampoo etc provided. Lennox has grown, has big supermarket now. It is very pretty. Great cafe walking distance William St..breakfast, L and D. Kiosk in surf club. Lake and Beach right there for swimming/surfing. We met friends there for a birthday celebration. It was so peaceful. The camp kitchen great facility to use. We drove from Noosa...4 hours.
We are two friends in 70s. We could not tell from photos that the lower bunk bed was right on the floor. It was hard to get in and out. Would have to upgrade if we went again. We had standard cabin.
position is great, staff very helpful and let us have a later check-out for an unexpected work Zoom to take place ?
the chalet shower was erratic in temperature; we found a couple of grubby handles and some debris under the couch. it's a chalet, not a building, and is old... so we felt the price was too high
Location
Our bedroom was close to the road , busy and noisy when kids were scooting up and down early morning
Close to the beach and dog beach.
Uncomfortable seating in the cabins, no play ground or pool for the kids.
Location
Standard Cabin was run down, not maintained and in need of some love. Not worth what we paid per night.
close to work and ocean
i didnt see when i booked the pet friendly cabin that there are two room options: with or without a bathroom :)
Iike staying in grandmas granny flat 30 years ago.
Unfortunately the cabin we stayed in is old and tired. Taps all dripped and near impossible to shut off. Bed was hard and small. No table or seating inside so had to sit on bed for breakfast. Outside table was unable to use as it was raining. Multiple light bulbs out, inside cabin. Mould on ceiling over the toilet area. Very over priced for a bed in a shed. Won’t go back to that park. Nicer options readily available now I’ve looked deeper.
The beach at your door step. Secure entrance and exit.
The cabin was old and no where to sit outside unless you take the 2 dining chairs out. Driveway to the cabin and next to cabin was very bad. Sliding door to bunks totally broken and window couldn't slide properly in dining area.
location is great cabin is not what is advertised on the websitepicture of great cabin ------standard cabin no.9 needed a lot of work---- doors rusted, bathroom cabinet rotting, screens are rusted and holes letting insects in linen and bed excellent
see above
Closeness to the dog beach and being able to bring our dog. The dog wash was terrific also.
The wifi was patchy
