Loea Boutique Hotel

Loea has a lovely, bright, uncomplicated, happy laid back retro vibe - the very best of a bygone era of the Sunshine Coast. The rooms have everything you need, with comfortable beds, and are immaculately clean with an open, cosy, welcoming, coastal-Early Settler aesthetic.Loea is perfectly positioned, close to everything but just enough removed from the insane chaos. The walking paths along the river are just across the road and Flume Cafe, with really delicious wood-fire pizzas, is an easy walk along the river. All in al, Loea is the perfect mix of upmarket modern motel and how the coast used to be. For those of us over 50, who remember the good ol' days of the coast, before the high-rises, noise and traffic lights, Loea feels like 'home'. The host is lovely too and we will certainly stay there when we visit the coast again.

So pretty! Clean. Lovely staff. Just all round, a really great find.

Parking is directly in front of the room. The bed and pillows are soft and comfortable. Staff is very friendly.

Location very close to airport which was what I needed. Beautiful design in room and well set out. The caretaker was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Shower was strong pressure.

Only complaint is that the bed was very firm. But this is just a personal preference.

Stunning hotel, fresh and clean, super comfortable extra large beds with soft fresh linen bedding, allowing us to keep our dog with us. Such a lovely place to stay! We would definitely stay again!

Heated pool would be lovely, we stay there in July and the water was freezing. Still very impressed with everything else.

It was a great place to stay, rooms are lovely.

There was a big disturbance/ some sort of fight on the property when we were there and it wasn’t any of the guests. Screaming occurred and we could hear a child crying and people yelling. Was quite scary especially because we have a newborn with us.

Loved everything really

Had a car park in front of accomodation and when booked believed would have the designated park but left for dinner come back and park was taken by another room had to park on the street. That's honestly was the only slight inconvenience.

I loved the beauty of the place, the location and the warmth of the staff.

Was nice enough, ac blew on us the fridge was on off on off all night we ended up leaving and driving back to the Gold Coast at 1am as could not sleep.

Clean fresh and updated, very nice. Great addition of gardens around the pool, bikes and coffee van. Well done

Scrumptiously clean. quiet. super comfortable bed with large feather pillows. Waterfall shower head was dreamy. Room was a delight. You can tell they have taken extra care to pick out real statement pieces. Cute coffee/drinks van out near the pool area is reception. Owner was lovely. Highly recommend

Clean, fresh, friendly staff

Great location and rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated.

Comfortable bed, boho decor is my favourite part of this stay - feels so homely! I’ve stayed in multiple units, this time we stayed in unit 1, by far unit 1 was my favourite!! I dislike the car parking as it is squishy especially when there are big cars at the hotel as well but that never stops me from staying here!

The room is very aesthetically pleasing, and spacious. I did however have an unfortunate experience during our stay when a large cockroach fell out of the air conditioning when I turned it on and landed on my neck! Aside from that, would recommend ☺️

Comfortable & clean, not a big motel, very personalised & quiet

The hotel has been tastefully decorated and the rooms well designed. The bed linen is soft and the bed is super comfortable for a great night's sleep. We arrived late with takeaway and no plates or cutlery. Rhonda the manager was more than happy to bring some to our room. We enjoyed the pool and well set out pool area in the morning before checkout. Unfortunately our stay was only one night.
