Drunken hotel and motel patrons making lots of noise outside the room and in adjacent rooms at 1:45am.

Always stay at Opal Inn in Coober Pedy . Clea and comfortable.

Great location, great bistro, clean, comfortable, lovely friendly staff always willing to be of assistance.

Nicely located near the servo. Very clean and tidy. Easy parking ad well. Convenient location. Stayed here a couple of times and it has been great.

The noise from the birds, but its not the motel fault though. Im willing to let that go.

Great underground room. Well ventilated and not stuffy at all. Hotel is in a great location on the Main Street.Room had internet, fridge, kettle etc.Very quiet underground.

Other guests had carved their names into the natural stone walls. Given part of the room was still part of the original hand hewn wall I thought that was a bit disrespectful. No complaints about the hotel at all.

In the centre of town. Comfortable, clean.

The place where they told me I could park was under a tree where birds roosted overnight. The next day they had pooped all over the front half of my car.

Kitchenette only microwave and kettle you cannot do any cooking.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, it was spacious and had been freshly painted.

The correllas were very noisy at night. I wish I had bought ear plugs

I flew in and only walked to get to the things i wanted to see, except for a afternoon tour i went on. Room assignment. Free return trip to airport. Location was good - near information office, and near street which goes to access the Big Winch, and the Old Timers Mine. Not too far from the IGA market. Laundry was easy to access in the attached Caravan area, though the dryer was too hi for me to see in. I nearly lost some socks. TV had a good number of stations. WiFi OK

Florescent lights in the bedroom. Florescent lights in the Dinner Bistro room. They buzz and make things feel cold and not warm and welcoming. The big negative is the screaming birds in the trees. They squawk nearly all day. Slow down around 9pm, then start again at 4:14am. There was a lot of deferred maintenance in my unit. Tile in shower needs to be regrouted. Major leak by bathroom sink. Basically needs attention to detail.

It is a good location

There was only coffee making facilities in the room. No microwave or toaster. Was forced to spend money at local food stores and couldn’t eat our food that we bought with us. Made our trip more expensive.

Soundproofing not the best

We stayed 2 nights doing a day trip with the mail man on his run to Oodnadatta, William Creek & return. It was clean, comfortable & convenient for us.

It was pretty basic but because we were not there during the daylight hours we only wanted it for staying at night & it suited that fine.

Value for money, Dessert cave hotel would have been better for us, I think!!

Time to check-in - Nobody at the reception, door closed.Each time we visited reception after check in , the door was locked. No one wa sever present at the desk.
