Not a lot open in kangaroo valley for evening meals (the accommodation restaurant was closed).
The reception staff are always so helpful. The coffee at the club is outstanding. And the balsamic vinegar and bolognaise sauce purchases from the kitchen are delicious.
The location was sensational and extremely panoramic. The villa was clean and very spacious. The facilities were excellent.
Nil complaints from me.
Staff were well selected, personable, knowledgeable and efficient. No amount of training could achieve this.Staff and Management were willing to help.Great serene location with stand alone cottages for privacy and quiet.Wildlife and surrounds were beautiful and the golf course looked like the championship course it was.The drive to the resort was scenic and peaceful.Restaurant was as if plucked from Italy.
We ran out of time there.
The hotel was fantastic , the villa, which was kindly upgraded, was well designed, beautiful views and so well equipped. It immediately made us feel very spoiled. We had drinks on the deck and lunch as well as dinner in the restaurant. The service and food were first class and such good value. The staff especially in reception were a real credit to the hotel and they should be congratulated
Loved the peace and quiet and the wildlife
Would have been nice if the restaurant was open for dinner and breakfast, but there were good options locally so it worked out
Peace was great, quiet with lots of kangaroos and wombats. Played golf with the kids every day after 6pm.
House smelled like curry when we checked in. It took 4 days for the terrible smell to clear. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
The chalets overlook a valley full of wildlife, so every day you can enjoy scenic views and watch all the kangaroos, birds and occasional wombats wandering past your windows. The chalets are spacious and well equipped, and well located for other local sightseeing.
That we couldn’t stay for longer! We loved it.
Beautifully designed, clean and tranquil with helpful staff, happy to return
Only very minor, would like a full-length mirror.
Location to the golf course and local wildlife was great Golf course was a great layout and in amazing condition
Old and run down but comfortable No meals available on site the day we were there and the club closes at 5pm
Very clean and very comfortable
Clean, private and convenient
The view the wildlife and the bed was super comfortable
Pretty mouldy and very creaky floors and the wooden verandah was super weathered and felt unsafe.
Lovely location
The property was tired and in need of renovation. The sofa outside was ripped, there were lots of dead flies inside the cabin. We didn’t want to cook in the place. The aircon was poor and cabin looked nothing like on the pictures on booking.com. Definitely would not recommend the place. Maybe we were in the worst cabin and other ones are ok.There was also no WiFi and we weren’t aware when booking. The pool area had no beds, the pool was dirty and full of insects and didn’t seem safe to swim in.
Convenient location for us to attend a wedding at KV bush retreat and also a short drive to the Main Street in town.
Such a beautiful location! The views are magnificent. The unit we were assigned was very clean and spacious, a little dated but very nice. We then found we had a problem with the lights - they didn’t work! We rang the contact number and received a very quick response. We were promptly moved to another unit which was absolutely fabulous. The golf course looked amazing. Would definitely recommend this retreat.
Stunning property with and abundance of wildlife Exceptional food - very good value for moneyFriendly staff
Access to rooms was a little challenging
Very clean, spacious, comfortable. Large deck which offers a majestic view of the mountains and the surrounding areas. Spacious living and dining area and kitchen. Has two bathrooms. The country retreat is surrounded by trees and in the vicinity of a golf course.
Once inside the property, it’s very dark driving as you make your way out from your cabin to the hotel restaurant and back. Some lighted paths - does not need to be too bright as we are also aware there are native animals also in the area - but low posts with small lights or reflective strips would make driving safe.
Internet is really poor . No reception in the cabin. And the tap water is cloudy and yellow.
