10/10 Glamping Experience!Thou Walla Sunset Retreat truly lives up to its name—breathtaking sunsets, peaceful vibes, and the perfect blend of nature with comfort. The glamping tents were spacious, well-equipped, and offered good views. A unique and serene escape—highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Friendly, helpful staff, well designed layout of sunset villa, good showers comfortable beds.

All went well, was a great stay

I found in my unit a few cracked floor tiles that had not been noted to management for repair, however when I mentioned it management were straight onto it.

Very clean. Nice staff. Excellent big verandah.

Glamping in Tent 1 was very peaceful, very clean and so close to the beach for walking and viewing the sunset. Toilet and bathroom facilities were clean, the swimming pool was beautiful, the female receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent, so quiet and peaceful with plenty of trees and greenery. BBQ facilities were very clean. Nothing to fault. Highly recommend for a weekend away.

We liked everything. Location was ideal being on the actual point of Soldiers Point. We observed sunrise & sunset with the turn of our heads. Of course not at the same time (haha). Cabin was well set out, clean, tidy & spacious . Staff were friendly & helpful. The grounds were well maintained & it was a beautiful walk in & around it. The pool was located near to our accommodation. I loved the family of ducks that walk about the grounds. It was a peaceful & relaxing holiday destination. We have already recommended it to our friends & family.

The only thing I didn't like was the toaster. We used the griller instead so it was no big deal. It's probably not even worth mentioning. We loved everything about Thou Walla Retreat.

Loved the location, the park was beautiful and the food in the surrounding area was amazing.

Location.

I couldn't understand why the apartment didn't have face washers. And not a hair dryer in sight. Apparently, there is only one hair-dryer to be shared by all apartments. If you don't request a hair-dryer on arrival (do we know this) or when checking in. There is a limited chance of it being available and returned to reception. We were told it was a leftover condition of covid 19. All very well then, but it's now 2025!

Great location right at the water, amazing view, while still enjoying the wildlife and bush atmosphere.

I liked how clean and comfortable the tent was and how relaxing it was. Courtesy bus was fantastic to go to RSL for dinner.

We had to park away from the tent.

The outlook from the tent was lovely, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Beautiful position to experience the glorious sunsets.

The pool area wasn’t that appealing, could do with an upgrade.

We really loved the area around the tents with the beautiful sunsets. The bed was very comfortable. We liked that the toilet and bathroom are seperate. Reception was very friendly and helpful.

I would suggest to have basic items such as salt and pepper and better dish washing equipment such as a brush etc. Cloths provided weren't ideal.

It was the quiet season and rainy but we sat on the front veranda outside our glamping tent and watched the ocean, koalas, a possum ran right in front of our feet. It was the most magical day, completely with nature (which is a big say for me as I live in a van normally so am normally in nature). Toilet and shower block was average but clean.

Great location, literally 200m away from either ocean or marina. Very peaceful and relaxing

I asked for a cot but they didn't have one, would have been ideal if they had this as an extra but we ended up bringing one

Peaceful and quiet, lots of rainbow lorrikeets, close to the marina which has a restaurant and cafe

Not much shops with in a short walking distance, there's no regular house keeping but additional towels and toilet paper can be requested.
