We had the Kanchenjunga view rooms and the view from the room was beautiful. We could see the sunrise from the rooms!The Rooms were clean & spacious. Loved every bit of it. The breakfast was tasty & had quite a few options.

Nice big clean rooms.Very nice Breakfast arrangements, with various kinds of food.Very courteous staffs.I wanted mountain view room & I got. It was wonderful.

The only problem was with ac of the room. I had really difficult time to explain the staff at reception (phone no 9) that hot air is coming from ac & it was really uncomfortable . They tried to explain that since the ac is centrally working, nothing could be done. On my insistance only person was sent to cool the ac.It was a daily problem.Please see to it that in future , other guests do not face the same.

I was too overwhelmed when I got into my room, in spite of the nearly 16-hour-long journey, I checked in late and they didn't burden me with paper works. Then the surprise came when I went to my room, they upgraded my room to a Mountain view room from the available poolside view room. And I would say, that's the best room experience ever.You can clearly see Kanchonjangha Mountain on a clear day and the whole valley from the big window. For this, we even skipped the early 3 AM journey to Tiger Hill. The feeling when get to see the mountains after waking up is awesome.The room was quite spacious and clean, no smell was there, not even in the bathroom. Adequate charging ports and most of all a breathtaking mountain view is always there. The amenities were sufficient. The bed was large and comfortable. Hands down the best hotel for a relaxing trip to Darjeeling.Also, mall road is just 5 minute's walk, which is convenient to experience local food, market, and the happening crowd. The nearby Taxi stand is a good way to get a taxi to go to places.The Rink Mall is just around the corner, but you have to walk for about 10 minutes to get there. Kaventer's is 6 minute walk, and Glennaries will take about 12 to 15 minutes.

At first, I was a bit skeptical about the front entrance of the hotel, which is through the parking spot, which was kind of smelly.A liquid handwash would be better than a bar of soap.Missed a late-night coffee/dessert place inside the hotel. Though they deliver in the room, a stroll around the lobby is always lovely.Regarding food, the breakfast was good but could be better. sadly we haven't tried lunch or dinner, but one time they had a buffet dinner option for Diwali, but that seemed expensive compared to the choices of food presented.

not much option of continental food and not a great ambience, music in the bar, it had the same music that foe breakfast in the morning.plus we had to shorten the trip for 1 day and the hotel did not agree on cancelation refund or other options, even though i send the message days before and did not got an answer from them

Location was convenient

Staff inexperienced and not helpful. Room maintenance not upto mark. While you can see Kanchenjunga in distance from room, the room overlooks dilapidated houses and the street. And we were on 3rd floor, so could see the dirty tiled roof of their restaurant. So name of room as Superior Kanchenjunga View is somewhat misleading.On the last day since we were leaving early we asked for packed breakfast, and it was very poor quality, just poorly made half sandwiches and muffin wrapped somehow in foil, almost as if we were on sufferance.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The staffs are very polite and always willing to go extra mile to help you. We also liked the breakfast menu.

Everything else.1. The rooms were very cold and when we tried to change the thermostat we couldn’t. To our surprise the ‘Heat’ mode was disabled. When we spoke to the reception they said they will ask management to change the temperature and they adjusted it for 1 hour and after that the rooms were cold again. I am wondering, is it even legal to install a centrally controlled thermostat in hotel rooms?2. The rooms are very old and don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong in an old room if it’s properly mentioned. We booked 3 rooms (314, 315, 316) and none of them were equal in terms of facilities / features. For example room 315 didn’t have shower splash guard in the washroom and whenever we took shower, the whole washroom was wet. The locker was not working in 315. The furnitures were old. And overall the rooms have very poor noise cancellation.3. The carpets in our corridor (3rd floor) were very dirty.

Great location near the Mall (Chourasta) which is the number one attraction in Darjeeling. Room (deluxe double bed) with pool view is spacious well furnished, clean, well maintained. Staff are well mannered, courteous and always with smiling face. Restaurant ambience is charming. Breakfast spread is really good with lot of varieties to choose from.

'Room with Pool view' is a misnomer. There is really 'No view' from the room, except the adjacent building. Toiletries are provided but without dental and shaving kit. Ala carte items for lunch and dinner are costlier than those in similar restaurants elsewhere. Menu for room service too is not that great.

As it was during the off-season, there was no rush in dining and other places, but coming to stay soon during peak season, and I hope they can accommodate guests properly.

In house dining is expensive compared to food outside, as most of the establishment charges such high prices.

The bartenders were helpful.

The room had an internal door facility to the neighbour. We were not informed of this earlier.. All throughout the night, there was disturbance.AC repeatedly was was switching off.

Room was good n comfortable

Room was supposed to be POOL facing but in reality it was terrible. One can't shift the curtain by a feet..The Bed is too soft n not comfortable.The Reception - Front Office was dark n not vibrant at all.

Service was very very bad . We have ordered food at 7:30 pm and have called more then 5 times but till 10:30 pm no order was delivered..
