Ahipara TOP 10 Holiday Park

There were lots of great facilities that i would have availed of if I was staying longer.

There was only one power outlet in a dorm for four people.

I didn't expect the holiday park to be as accommodating as it is I mean it's huge, and very clean and tidy, Impressive. Close to the beach, with a very nice fish n chip takeaway shop, bottle store, and petrol station 1 minute before the camp grounds.

The staff could have been a bit more helpful, as to point out a few of the important things to note on the map. E.g. pin code for the gate and where exactly the lodge was where I was to stay.

Loved our stay.Clean,, tidy, spacious and everything we needed to have an incredible stay!

The cabin we had was very small. How do people holiday in this? No where to put your bags lol

A fan atleast in the cabin or knowledge of requeating one, it was absolutely hot and the windows n curtains had to stay shut because of the insects

WiFi very weak, dropped out or didn't work at all most of the time. Mobile connection also weak/dropped out.No privacy at all on outdoor deck.

Great location. Nice and clean cabin. Kids enjoyed the playground. Maybe look at adding a slide in the future?Kids also enjoyed the kids club activities.

The bed was so old, saggy, and uncomfortable that I wasn’t able to sleep. The fridge made a loud noise in the room.

The Ahipara Holiday Park is a well presented and maintained property. The facilities including my stand alone unit were very clean and of a high standard. My unit facilities, lounge, kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom were all of a very high standard. Very good water pressure and temperature. The Park layout makes provision for a host of customers and its layout affords privacy and 'quiet zones'. The front desk and reception staff were all very friendly, helpful and pleasant to interact with. I enjoyed my stay and would have liked to have stayed longer.

What didn't I like? There was nothing of note I did not like.

Clean comfortable facilities. We stayed in the dorm portion of the holiday park and was not busy. The kitchen was stocked well with kitchen wares. Lots of fridge space but could see it being an issue when full. Only a 5 - 10 min walk to the beach. For the price was a good deal.

A fan in the room would be nice.

Good sized cabin, everything provided you'd need. Great reception desk and shared facilities.

The room had such a strong damp smell, wouldn't have wanted to be there longer than one night.

We are from Ahipara so love that we can have extended family stay here

We love it but the mattresses could be more comfortable

Friendly reception. New owners hadn't been given access to the booking.com bookings & we were initially allocated a room in The Lodge. It had an ensuite but a shared kitchen. I had booked a basic s/c cabin. We were upgraded to a 1 b/r cabin, which was good.

No flyscreens.
