Fairfield by Marriott Agra

Location was good...but unfortunately breakfast was not provided...though we'd booked the room WITH breakfast , on booking.com .

Booking.com cheated us of the breakfast ,that we had booked along with the room .Very disappointing !!!

great breakfast and dinning options. room size is fine even for 3 adults. very classy interiors. great staff. gym is also good. close to many excursions in Agra

Promised and booked room were not provided while we paid for Taj view rooms. Delay and holding check-in that too when we reached late at around 10 p.m. instead of 2 p.m. Two rooms booked for family but were provided on different floors. The lady at the reception had no courtesy to even offer water to kids and family during the waiting period at the time of check in. there are so many other shortcomings. no value for money

Food was awesome, breakfast was also yummy with a lot of choices. The rooms were clean and the mattress was super comfortable.

Small room area, staff was just ok, they don't smile and greet you ?..

So so not making fresh Tea.

Not using Tissue Paper on the dining table, also no liner in the garbage box.

Along with comfortable stay ,I liked the food and the options provided during breakfast buffet

Location is slightly away from the Taj Mahal.

Newer facility, located in a mall.

Location was city centre, difficult to access - narrow roads and traffic. Quite a distance from main attraction.

Food was excellent and have lots of variety, food was delicious and enjoyed the ambience of the cosmos cafe, thanks for the hospitality

The hotel is clean and well maintained. Our room was nice, nothing spectacular but good for a one-night stay. We had dinner at the hotel with a 20% discount on the buffet. Our room price included breakfast which was varied and had both Indian and Western dishes. We were on the same floor with the gym but didn't use it, it looked good though.

Dinner buffet was advertised with a leaflet that had photos of tomato mozzarella salad and other cheese, but none of that was part of the buffet. So we were a bit disappointed as we were looking forward to Western food.

The twin beds were excellent

Location, safety concerns. We left hotel very early without final checkout. When we called back to hotel to check out they wanted us to return to hotell. They had my credit card number so no reason to return. Took too long to work out.

We were taken care of and advised very professionally and with great courtesy by Mr. Mohammad Zeeshan. We are very grateful for his support and organizational skills.

Location and rooms are clean but washroom are very smaller

Air conditions are not work we feel very bad

The Fairfield by Marriott was excellent. They had upgraded our room from a Deluxe with a city view to one with a view of the Taj Mahal, so that was a wonderful surprise.The staff was fantastic. Special mention to Zeeshan, Preshant and our driver, Kasim. Zeeshan arranged all our travel and exploration plans, airport transportation and even last minute requests with such ease and excellence. He was so responsive to connect with thru WhatsApp.Preshant was our contact at the front desk and was so very accomodating and helpful. Kasim always met us at the arranged time, was so patient when we made stops and helped us navigate Agra.

That we didn't have more time there!

Anjali from desk helped us with all needed. She was professional and helpful. Also Arpit from Restaurant, he prepared the best Sangria in India. Recommendable.

After arriving at the hotel following a tiring journey, we went to the restaurant for dinner. Our room number was taken by the staff (a few times actually). We had a couple of drinks in the bar first. When we finished dinner we got up from our table and walked out heading to our room. As we were passing reception, a waiter was chasing us down the corridor shouting, 'sir, sir'. He had a slip with him for our drinks which he wanted us to sign. We gave the slip a quick scan and noticed two of our drinks had been added twice. The waiter had to return to the restaurant to update the slip while we waited in the reception area. We'd attracted some attention from other guests by this point who were probably wondering why a waiter had to come chasing us down. We eventually signed the corrected slip and carried on to our room. We undressed for bed and then there was a knock on the door. I was already in bed so my wife wrapped a towel around her to answer the door. It was the waiter again. This time he had a slip for the meal we'd eaten and he wanted it to be signed. I appreciate these things have to be signed but surely it could have waited until the morning. I've never before been pursued to my room for a meal slip to be signed. It's a Marriott, an expensive hotel. What did they think we were going to do? Try to argue we hadn't had the meal!Other aspects of our stay annoyed me too. Little things like sitting down for dinner and having to grab a fork from an adjacent table because the fork was missing from my setting. During breakfast the waiters would ask if you wanted a coffee or a tea, etc. All good but it was an absolute lottery as to whether the drink you requested actually turned up. You'd ask again and sit and wait to see if you're lucky this time.I personally found the reception staff (not all but many) to be quite glum looking. I never really got the feeling they were happy to help.Just not a great experience really.
