Disappointing Experience – Not Worth 3 Stars

- Poor wifi connection- The room card didn’t work, so I had to go back to the reception every single time to access my room which was highly inconvenient.- Although card payments were supposedly accepted, the machine wasn’t working, and I wasn’t informed beforehand, which caused unnecessary hassle.- While the staff was friendly, the manager was quite unfriendly, which left a sour impression.

Its so so. Basic facilities like intercom and lifts were not working. But room services are good

Lift was not working for 3 days and intercom does not work.

The food was amazing, and . The hotel manager, was very professional and helpful. We had difficulty traveling from Agra at the end of our stay due to closures on the road, and he helped us find a driver and negotiate a price for the trip. Very professional staff and service.

Peaceful environment and ambient staff of the hotel .Hotel is at a really good location and their hospitality is really worthy of appreciation .

Hospitality of the staff, cleanliness and amenities are amazing. Very high quality over Indian standards. Staff always willing to help and provide a pleasant service. Good location if you want to go for a sunrise Taj Mahal experience.I highly recommend this place.

The bed and room were super comfy. The little touches were gorgeous- , coasters, coloured glass water bottles. The decor of the whole hotel was stunning. The staff were so attentive and helpful Breakfast was so good. The library was gorgeous. Only 30 mins walk to Taj Mahal

Clean, spacious and classy room. Amazing guide arranged through the hotel. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the staff were all courteous and very helpful.

We recently stayed with the amazing team at Sahibs Light House for one night with a very early check in and an extremely late check out with full use of our room until train to Varanasi. Local regional food was served with pride and many hours were spent discussing the cultural richness, traditions and complexities of India past, present and future. Would highly recommend Sahibs Light House as the ideal home away from home when exploring the awe inspiring Taj Mahal and sites of Agra.

My experience was very good ,hotel is very big and rooms are clean and tidy .I ordered a few items from the restaurant and it was delicious too.The service was also fast

Rooms are of good size, clean and location is good.

Don't take Buffet Breakfast. Service is poor, food not tasty & less variety in breakfast. Tea coffee not good.

They dont given any breakfast, and even asked to pay 1000 per person more and for night stay they asked to pay 1200 more than booking amount Pathetic serviceEven there was no towel was even available at hotel

Nothing at all

Cockroaches, dirty bed sheets, rude staff, no hot water, no wifi, unclean room, old food hair and thick dust under the bed, no buffet breakfast, no towels in our room.

The staff was very polite and helpful.

No doubt, the room was clean and cosy.Staff was kind.The flush in the loo was running all time.No hot water.The breakfast was cold, and not fresh.Cutlery was dirty.There was a spider in the drinking water.T.V did not work even once.There were tea bags in the room, but no creamer.Landlines were designed to not work.Pool had the strict rules (swimsuits only) 2 hrs. during the day 2 hrs. in the evening.In their restaurant, you can only eat nonveg meals during the day and not at night.Had to wait for 50 minutes for a blanket.Ashok, the person at the reception, had the most unreliable insights. I trusted him for his advice and suggestions, ended up wasting time and money and was embarrassed infront of my family and the Uber driver.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.Also after so much they still asked me to visit them again.Never will I ever recommend anyone to visit Sahib's Lighthouse-Agra.Unpleasant stay.

Staff

Basic facilities like TV not working properly, No spoon provided with the tea maker, Water bottle chargeable, mosquitos in the room. Felt like room hadn’t been cleaned for many days. Breakfast Buffet was horrible, taste less and very less options.

Bed bugs alert ‼️ Avoid!!!!We found a massive bug in our bed and tried to get rid of it it. I went to get someone from reception but it ran away. We kept looking and found 8 small bed bugs. When the manager and house keepers came in they also saw and offered to change the bedding.We still felt uncomfortable and asked if they could change the room.Initially they told us that no more rooms are available and they are sold out completely.Then we said we are leaving and asked for a refund. they’ve asked us to give them a chance and see another room.But before they were sold out? Interesting first lie.We accepted their offer and went to another room, only to discover more bugs. At this point, we firmly said that we couldn't stay any longer. When we asked for a refund, they initially said its impossible.But we paid cash? Interesting 2nd lie.After some back-and-forth, theyoffered a 50% refund, which we declined, insisting on a full refund. Unfortunately, they refused our request, and we had no choice but to leave and go through this process instead to warn other travelers.What began as a pleasant experience turned sour as the staff, who initially appeared sweet and accommodating, grew increasingly aggressive and dishonest as the situation unfolded.I also wanted to say the housekeeping are super sweet and very nice men. They were trying their best to accommodate us.The bed bug is a big issue around the world and it’s nobody’s fault we just didn’t appreciate the bad treatment from them management.I'll look forward to hearing your response where I will prepare myself for the next lies...

Bathroom was a good size. Beds were comfortable.

There was no windows. The room smelt very musty and there was a mouse in our room.

They charged 1200 extra first of all, room was literally small, no towels , even bathroom was not clean, water was even chargeable, location was really bad and hard to find,... first visit to Agra but was worst experience with hotel, and it was with buffet but they said they will charge extra for it, we went without any breakfast from there

Very bad, staff untrained, almost every guest are unhappy. Charges are not justified.No towel, toilet flush not working, tv not working, telephone not working.
