Hotel Marine House

Outstanding stay at Hotel Marine House, Agra.The room was super clean and bed was cosy. Aircon worked perfectly and the bathroom was clean and well-stocked. It's located close to Taj Mahal, making it easy for an early morning visit before the crowd arrive. Staff was very kind and helpful. Overall, a perfect place for 1-2 nights stay at Agra.

When having buffet breakfast the man in the dining room was constantly standing at the back of us as if watching how much food we were taking out.

Clean and in a good location for most requirements. Staff were quick to assist with room problems I had - didn't realise power to tv was on a switch next to my bed. Perhaps put label on it?

I stayed next to reception and they were noisy until midnight with music playing which resumed again around 5.40-6 am which woke me up. Some menu options at dinner were not available.

Exterior is nice. Rooms are large. There was a double bed and an extra single bed in the room. Comfortable for family of 3

Lift was quite slow. No 24 hr room service. Only till 10:30 PM

My mother and I are deeply grateful for the incredible care and kindness shown by the manager and staff during our stay. Upon arrival, my mother had unfortunately fallen and broken her arm. The manager went above and beyond, meeting us at the hospital to ensure we were taken care of and helping us return safely to the hotel.The staff were absolutely amazing—kind, attentive, and always ready to assist. The food was delicious, and every detail of our experience was handled with such thoughtfulness. Even as we prepared to leave, the team continued to go above and beyond, making us feel supported and comfortable throughout.We cannot thank them enough for their compassion and exceptional service during a challenging time. This hotel truly turned a difficult situation into one of care and comfort, and we’ll forever be grateful.

The only two things we would have preferred differently were having a window that could open in our room and receiving prior advice about not walking alone outside the hotel. This made getting around a bit more challenging, as we needed to rely on tuk-tuks or taxis for trips to the shops or other nearby destinations.

I had a delightful one-night stay at Hotel Marine House. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met promptly. The hotel's location was excellent, offering beautiful views and easy access to nearby attractions. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options to suit all tastes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend Hotel Marine House to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay

Overall our stay was good, room size and condition of property was also good. Staff was very professional and helpful.

Breakfast had limited options. Every night there was some banging sound on the roof that staff told me was just kitchen staff fulfilling customer orders all night but it made our stay a little bit uncomfortable.

I could not sleep one night. I had to extend the booking due to health reasons. They would move cylinders on the room terrace every night. There would be indecent people moving in towels in the gallery. I could not go out to get fresh air. The canteen boy would shout and bring tea in a big thermas uncleaned and filthy. There is no window in the room. Even at time of checkout they demanded extra cash and was extremely rude at reception. Food will be brought from street and served at four times higher charges. I would not recommend this place for single female stay at all.

Room was perfectly alright and very good facilities and very smooth checkin but the otherway around in the morning 6 clock someone opened my door without even knocking and without permission which made me very uncomfortable and very unsafe

Modern en luxury rooms. The staff is very friendly. My girlfriend became sick and we asked to stay in the room till 2pm, so she had more time to rest before getting in the taxi to our next destination. This was no problem for the staff.

The food quality in the restaurant is very bad. Also hygiene rules during breakfast are ignored.

Elegant and very comfortable room. Price is great for the quality. Super nice staff.

Expected more but nothing is there ..all rating are fake...no proper hot water coming and nor food is good .. it is very less occupation and not suitable for family ... This property located far away from tourist places and i do not recommend to anybody...

Hotel is very nice.Food is very tasty. Room is very neat and clean.Bathroom is also neat and clean.Wifi available.Rooms are big and spacious.To keep clothes wardrobe is available.Hotel is safe.Dressing table and racks are available.Lift is available.

Little bit expensive.Bathroom stays wet.Shower water is light warm only.

Isolated locality, poor room service, stinky bath towels, lizards in the room, not good for family or couple, no hot water, no toiletries

Our room is big, modern and clean. closer to the Taj Mahal.

The hotel is located outside of the city area but closer to the Taj Mahal. We checked in the Middle of the night and the guy at the reception was waiting for us. They asked for the room fee middle of the night but we said we will pay in the morning after exchanging USD. But they demanded for money. then we collected all the INR that we had exchanged from the airport and paid. The weather is very warm. water coming from the shower was also heated during the middle of the night. It was the AC room but the AC wasn't working properly. we have complained about this but they never give it a try to fix it. Breakfast was very simple. They had only something cooked from rice flakes and roti. We had rotti but curry was curd and pickle. There were a few Indian guests and we saw they had bread we asked for the same but the waiter said it would take 20 minutes to offer bread. so we came out without having bread.

Nice hotel with good and quite good quality renovation. Clean room and good smell in it. The hotel is a little away from the main street and hence it was peaceful to stay in.Would recommend it as a budget option for a stopover for a few days in Agra.

We stayed on the first floor and had a terrible view of the garbage dump outside the window. The hotel has a banquet hall and it just so happened that our stay coincided with a wedding. The fun continued into the night.

Great place to stay. Very nice plush room and comfortable bed. Clean spacious toilet. Staff was very helpful.
