The Island Accommodation

I was very impressed by this experience. I got a queen room with ensuite bathroom in a hostel. Despite this, the room was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was far better than many more expensive hotels or motels.

It was a bit noisy, but not late at night. The biggest problem I would have had was the lack of A/C - it was quite cool when we went, so with the open window and fan we were comfortable, but if it was hot it would have been miserable.

The location is good, staff is friendly, have a big share kitchen, playing rooms and bbq place. The room and toilet are clean and tidy.

When we arrived there,there is no water supply. At night, when there is water supply, the shower is terrible. The water suddenly become cold nor hot and big nor small.

Great accommodation with full kitchen facilities, friendly staff.

Pillows too flat, no water pressure in shower.

The price considering the time of the year that we stayed (late January so Summer period).

No air-conditioner

We booked this for its location on Philip Island and didn't give much thought to what it might be like. When we arrived we were blown away with how good it was. We had a private room with a shower which was very clean and comfortable. We hadn't realised there was a full kitchen for our use and so while we were out we got enough to make a really good meal on our return. It had a great atmosphere and its location was spot on. Staff were very helpful

We were very disappointed when we got there we didn’t even stay 1 night and we did not get any money back I have given the last 3 weeks and still haven’t had a response

It's a little tricky to find. The address suggests that it's on the main road but it's actually around the corner. Look for the large Blue Wave model on the corner.

Staffs at the reception is very warm hearted. they tried their best to help me solve the problem of transportation because I want to see peguins parade which is a distance spot. And the bedroom is pretty clean. I also like its position which is near to the bus stop.

Really clean and organised hostel. Facilities are great and staff were really helpful.

Awesome place with wonderful lounge/social spaces and kitchen facilities in great location on the Island.. Super clean rooms and public areas. Friendly and helpful staff.10 out of 10 !!

All good , nothing to dislike.

The place was clean and nice, beds were comfy, and the common areas seemed nice too at a glance. The staff accommodated our check in well and were very friendly, although couldn't be reached after dark.

Unfortunately when the booking said there were amenities and facilities provided, it didn't highlight that towels are BYO and so after a long and tiring day we all ended up drying ourselves off with old shirts and we could see that others in our room had pinched the dirty shower mats to dry themselves off; we would have happily brought our own towels if it was made clear.

Clean. Friendly staff. Great location.

There was nothing to like about this place

Didn't like no air-conditioning no TV no fridge and getting woken up at 2am because of a power outage speaker waking everyone up to leave immediately had my kid's crying and panicking terrible experience will never go back

Walked inside the room to be greeted by a delightful shit smell (ffs) then there was a lovely Kmart fan to push the shit around the room. When I get to hell this is where I will go. May god have mercy on this place. Amen

It’s just a boxed standard room hardly anything in it more like a hostel with a hotel room

The kitchen was meticulously clean and well stocked.The games room was inviting and comfortable.The location was perfect. The views were lovely and it was nice and quiet.
