Looked like a French winery. Staff experienced.

food was challenging to obtain. My EA said it had a restaurant, but there were time restrictions that I would have appreciated this information up front.

Lovely quiet location.Calming vistas.Generously sized room and facilities. Great breakfast and dining.Very accommodating and engaging Lancemore personnel.

Beautiful location

Restaurant food very expensive, alcohol prices were ridiculous and the fixed menu was very average.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large, modern and well lit. Balcony furniture was comfy and clean but the lack of extensive paving made walking in crushed rock "messy". Nice common lounge with open fireplace. Large wall mounted TV.

The included breakfast was disappointing. Hot meals were by order only, the serving sizes were "nuova cuisine". Common items, like toast, having to be asked for separately as well as butter/marg. Pastry choices were limited, coffe/tea service very slow. A buffet style, particularly on busy days, would have been a better option.Even with a generous Genious Discount, cost per night was still high.

Property is lovely, modern, although a little sparse and cold. It was a particularly cold weekend and the restaurant felt quite cold. The rooms also have concrete floors unheated which made it feel cold. I expect this property would be a nicer stay in summer. The staff were lovely & warm but it appeared understaffed. Food was hit and miss, some dishes amazing (waygu entree) some not so much (rainbow trout main). The grounds are lovely and its in a wonderful location for wine tasting. We were just there overnight and needed somewhere to stay for the evening. I will try returning in summer for a few nights to take full advantage of the property and location.

Noisy, the concrete floors and thin walls led us to hear our neighbor coughing for most of the night. Does make the room feel quite cold with the concrete being unheated. Carpet would have felt warmers. Shame the fire place in the sitting room wasn't on. Was certainly cold enough for it. I feel if I had paid full price for the night I would have been rather disappointed but the deal we picked up for the night and breakfast has led to the better ratings.

Room need a different type of chair. the couch is impossibe for an older person

Nice place and staff... food was exceptionally good.

Sound proofing isn't brilliant and the acoustics means sound travels. The only annoyance was in the restaurant, where kids on a large table were allowed to watch their iPads with the volume turned up. No staff directed them to stop, so out meal was spoiled by having to listen to a kid's TV programme.

The staff were very welcoming as we arrived, the aesthetic of the hotel is modern and nice, the breakfast was delicious and the hotel is close to Miliwa attractions.

It seems extremely over priced for what it is. The “spa” isn’t heated, nor is the pool and that area was very dated. The bathroom in the room was very basic and didn’t have a bath. I expected better for the rate they charge.

Large sized rooms. Comfortable beds. Clean.

It felt sparse and lacking in finish particularly in the bathrooms and wide empty corridors. We were there midweek but it felt very empty and lacking in atmosphere especially the restaurant. The air conditioning in the restaurant was malfunctioning and it was freezing.

spacious room, bed was nice just a bit too soft for us. Both dinner and breakfast were fantastic.

shared balcony - having a family next door, noise travels, when we were there it was not busy and there were lots of vacant rooms so unsure why we couldnt have had a little more space (even just one room) between us and other guests.

Restaurant was lovely, views to roses and vineyard was beautiful.

Doorways floor grates and doors needed a clean. Plug didn’t work well.

Good location

This hotel didn’t meet our expectations in a number of ways.First..the food at night was really bad..not sure what the chef was doing but it was just awful.The beef ribs were flooded in overdone sauces,the lamb was tough and the crème brûlée looked and tasted nothing like cream brûlée!Breakfast was average with the typical fruit of watermelon,melon and pineapple like every other hotel in Australia.Finally,whilst the hotel is only two floors..not to have a lift for luggage alone ect is just unacceptable for a high class establishment.The windows in the bedroom were filthy

Nice location, just across the road from Brown Brothers Cellar door (worth a visit).A 5 minute walk to the local pub - great meals and fun mixing with the locals.Very quite. We used as a base to explore regional Victoria.. Bright (50mins) and Beechworth one morning and then back for wine tastings in the afternoon.Another day Explored nearby (15 mins) Wangaratta and then doubled back to King Valley ( go to Pizzini wines) for wine tastings.The hotel has some nice open spaces and a nice pool area... weather in mid Feb was cool overnight but beautiful days up to 30 degrees.

Breakfast wasn't til 7.30am - we are early risers so had to kill some time. The walk up to the cheese factory (not open that early) and back killed an hour.The staff struggled a bit with basic orders for meals/ coffee..easily fixed and pleasant with an apology but the difference between good and great.

We were on a ground floor standard room doors opened out to nice pond, pub up the road was good

Very friendly staff. Lovely room with good climate control (very hot weather during our stay). Great location across the road from Brown Brothers and next to vines. Comfortable bed. Nice balcony looking over the gardens. Yummy breakfasts.

Location, facilities, rooms and the scenery ... 5 starsBreakfast was fantastic and included in the room price.Swiftly put a fold away bed for our daughter. It was a fabulous bed for her. Very comfy.Staff impeccable ? What a gem of a find, right opposite Brown Brothers ... bonus!We'll be back
