Pros +
- It was private and quiet. the restaurant had a great selection.
- The location and surroundings and facilities make for a great stay. If you like your massages and saunas and swimming pools and yoga, it is even more appealing. The facilities with the spa comes with very generous opening times. The breakfast and the views from the restaurant are excellent. It can be a good base to explore Abel Tasman national park or make for a relaxing resort stay as well.
- The quality of the health spa services and the lovely people. The barefoot walk is good, the glow worm night walk iswell worth it, lots of glow worms. The organic garden is impressive.
Cons -
- I was subtly told I overpaid for the stay in booking.com. Heard the same for another guest checking in as well. Might well be the case, but it isn't a great starting point and people can have their reasons with cancellation policies, keeping all booking in one place etc.
- When you are travelling to stay it would be good to be able to use the spa for a full day on your first or check out day.
- We knew going in that the restaurant was vegetarian and that breakfast did not include hot foods, but my group would have enjoyed some hot options (like oatmeal). The restaurant is also closed for dinner Sunday and Monday, which limited our chance to eat dinner there.

Quiet, great room, beautiful view, easy to get to the beach, wonderful restaurant
Loved the room, the staff and the view
Fabulous location & lovely pool & spa facilities. Really helpful staff. Healthy & delicious breakfast included in our stay. We also enjoyed a lovely vegetarian supper.
We stayed in the 4 bedroom house for a group of 5 and it had plenty of comfortable space for all of us. Great view. Nice pool and jacuzzi facilities. Staff was friendly and flexible.

Beautiful natural setting with fantastic views over Kaiteriteri beach Daily room service and excellent breakfast Decent sized rooms. Superb vegetarian restaurant on site Pleasant and helpful staff A fabulous spa and therapists - well worth booking a treatment
Everything, we only stayed 1 night unfortunately, tried to get another but fully booked. I can honestly say the nicest place we have stayed in, in NZ and have been here 5 weeks
Unfortunately we didn't realise the restaurant and bar were closed the night we stayed as the views were incredible
Good size comfortable room with great views looking out over Kaiteri Beach.
Would have liked to have seen fish on the menu. Vegan restaurant and we choose not to eat there
Have stayed before and it is always a treat.
The weather wasn't as fine as a Kaiteriteri summer usually puts on, but it is still a beautiful place. I booked into the day spa so that was perfect.
Great private room with a bath spa on the deck so I was able to enjoy the views. The apartment has been modernised which was great to see- so clean on arrival and just soooo relaxing.
The rule re the Christmas Dinner - i was unfortunately alone as my friend has to suddenly fly back to the UK- but you had to purchase 2 dinners to be allowed the Christmas menu with a complimentary drink. I found it very difficult to sit there eating a risotto, all alone and no Christmas fun- I was quite upset at this meal.
Comfortable, clean, well located on a beautiful beach and close to town. We loved all the animals too!
Excellent view, very comfortable room/bed and loved the daily breakfast. We also used the pool/spa!

The property has several buildings set in a beautiful landscape crisscrossed with trails and does a great job of inspiring and enabling wellness but not in an over the top way.
I initially thought the property was right on the beach but it’s a short 15-20 minute walk.
Great views. Great privacy. Indoor and outdoor swimming. Great massage.Lovely breakfast included
Beautiful views food and facilities
We couldn’t turn on the spa pool
Great stay, really enjoyed it! Wonderful views, comfortable, quiet and a great breakfast!
Lovely pool area. Room nicely equipped.
Would be nice if there were fly screens to keep out insects. Room overlooked pool so less private.
