Kaka Point Spa Accommodation - Catlins

Wonderful view. We had a horrible windy day on our first day that we watched from our cosy studio. The next day the weather was perfect for exploring.Highly recommend this accommodation

Great position and views, easy to tour the Catlins region from here. Very comfortable accommodation. Step outside for a beautiful beach walk.

Convenient location

Bath floor mat was wet when we arrived and there is no where to hang towels to dry, after 2 nights we were using wet towels , promoted as luxury but lacking in this aspect

Lovely views, very comfy bed, easy parking, great seating area, luxury touches( spa bath and bath products, bath products, candle, telescope)

Beautifull location and well equipped unit. Accomodation is clean and the views were absolutely stunning!Host Lisa was lovely and made the experience so easy to check in and contactable if we need anything.

Fabulous views supported by comfortable and comprehensive facilities. Lisa was lovely to communicate with. We felt very cared for.

Could t get the spa bath to work and I was looking forward to using it!

The room was nicely decorated and the lounge chairs were extremely comfy. Nice bath products available. The owner was very friendly and helpful. But the best thing was the amazing ocean view, it was incredible!

The apartment wasn't totally clean when we arrived but the owner quickly came to fix it for us. When we filled the tub with hot water there was no hot water left for showering.

Amazing view of the ocean and the surfers. The heated beds were helpful to make sleep very cozy.

Amazing views and fantastic location not far from Nugget Point. Easy check in. Helpful to have a basic kitchenette for simple meals. Large studio room. Underfloor heating in the bathroom and spa bath were a special treat.

Additional cutlery would be useful.The king size bed had a bit of a hump in the middle.Kitchen/living decor a bit tired in places but everything was functional.

Fantastic location with an amazing outlook over two bays and views out to Nugget Point lighthouse. Very relaxing.

Pulling out of the driveway very dangerous - really needs a mirror so you can see what’s coming around the corner. Some minor cosmetic touch ups need to be completed.

The views!! Our room looked south and we revelled each morning in throwing the curtains open to watch the beach come to life. The room is bright, cozy, clean and bed super comfortable. Stayed for a week and did day trips - were calling it ‘home’ each day as our sanctuary to wind down.

The property was plenty big enough for my requirements and it was spotless upon arrival. The hosts were communicating thoroughly up to and during the stay in providing updates concerning the booking. It’s located centrally within Kaka Point, and is a short walk into the centre or a short drive to Molyneux Bay. It’s also located about 10/15mins from Nugget Point Lighthouse - and is about 20mins from Balclutha, or the same to Owaka and so if you’re intending to do the Southern Scenic Route I would recommend this accommodation. I would definitely stay again at this property!

Excellent location with great views over the sea, and the local cafe/restaurant just down the road. Excellent bathroom, comfy beds, and the room had everything we needed.

We were here for 3 nights, and on the second night there was a bit of noise from the people in the next unit (music with bass coming through the wall). Thankfully it didn't go all night, but it was a bit annoying. Not the host's fault though!

Kitchen area was all fine but a little dated. Everywhere else had been updated brilliantly.

The owner has a great eye for detail and all the little extras were great along with great location and very comfortableWe also appreciated the extra contact and support when there was nearby flooding.

A beautiful location with wonderful views of the ocean and distant nugget Point. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Enough kitchen utensils to prepare simple meals. And the spa bath was a real treat on a very cold day. Would definitely recommend staying here.
