The swimming pool was cold. The proximity of the road.

The balcony offered magnificent views of the ocean. We booked a two-bedroom apartment, but we were given a three-bedroom penthouse!!! The hotel’s location was excellent. Shops and a bus stop were nearby, and the beach and restorants were within walking distance.

You must keep the bathtub closed while not using it or you will find the shower full of cockroach

Close to Lidl, perfect rooms layout, terrace, all the necessary things inside.

Couldn't find a parking space during Easter - neither free nor paid. Bad smell in one of the bathrooms. 20 min by feet to the beach, we'd love to be closer to it. A swimming pool was a bit too cold for the kids.

A very large apartment with everything a family needs for a comfortable stay in fabulous Los Gigantes. Kitchen has the basic amenities needed to prepare meals, and there are two spacious bathrooms, comfortable beds and a well-appointed lounge area. Balcony was huge and overlooked the pool and garden.

Our room was at the rear of the complex, close to a busy road, which made it somewhat noisy, particularly in the twin room.

The fact that swimming pool being closed at 6pm. In sunny and hot weather that is very disappointing. Other hotels had their swimming pools still open.

Was conveniently located for supermarket, restaurants and bars but uphill climb back if you want the sea.

Balcony facing the sea is great but no sun in the morning.TV reception is rubbish.Smelly bathroom drains.Power supply failed one night.

Great views. Well equipped apartment. Very spacious and well laid out. All appliances, albeit older, work well. The location is amazing! Close to a Lidl and various restaurants and ice cream shops. We loved that there was a place for us to park the car as it can be hard to come by otherwise. The sunsets from the balcony were surreal!

The bathrooms were ok. There was an unpleasant odor at times.

The hotel location is very good, quiet area, close to the beach, restaurants, shops and places to walk.Very good breakfasts, choice of several items from the menu. Free parking spaces around the hotel.The view of Los Gigantes and the surrounding area was beautiful.Polite service, comfortable rooms, prepared for a longer stay. WE RECOMMEND

Shade around the pool could be improved, Children in the adult pool when their pool was empty

It was wonderful it’s my 3rd visit the last 2 we’re with my husband but unfortunately he passed away last year but all the staff remembered us & were wonderful to me I’ll be returning next March 2026 ?

Very clean and comfortable. Staff were really helpful. Location is across from Lidl which is great for shopping.

Pool was only open from 9am until 6pm. Would be better if open at 8am so serious swimmers avoid families. Didn’t like the fact that you were approached and told you could not bring your own soft drink to the pool. It is self catering after all.

Helpful, professional and welcoming staff. Nice and warm swimming pool. Big apartament with everything you need but not super clean and quite old.

The hotel staff were very friendly and informative. The two bedroom apartment was well equipped and the balconies faced the sea and sun. The double bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and having two bathrooms was good.

The beds in the second bedroom were very uncomfortable and we had to put four blankets on one so that it could be slept on.

We really enjoyed our stay at El Marques Palace in Puerto De Santiago. We had a family room at the very top with a lovely sea view, we could also see the another Canary Island of La Gomera and the stunning Los Gigantes cliffs. We met the lovely woman Rosie at reception when we arrived and she couldn’t have been more helpful. There was another woman and man behind the desk too but didn’t catch their names, who were also very friendly and helpful with booking restaurants, day trip activities and general advice for your stay. I’m guessing the building is a bit older than some of the other surrounding hotels but is certainly well maintained and clean. Also for anyone renting a car I was a bit put off that the hotel didn’t offer free parking but was told that it was safe to park around the area if you could find a spot, which I did to be fair and didn’t have an issue at all.

Breakfast. Very small choice and quality - so so

The staff, including reception, cleaning and maintenance were all very helpful and incredibly welcoming of our kids (ages 1 and 3). We were able to arrange a room change to better reflect the ages of the kids, they helped safety proof the balcony and generally every request was met with a smile. These small human interactions are sometimes overlooked, but we can only convey that the staff made a huge difference to the enjoyment of our stay. It is a short walk to the westward facing coast at sunset, 20 minutes walk (or a very easy bus journey) to Playa la Arena and 50 minutes drive to Teide national park. A great location for family and adventure activities.

The kitchen could have been better equipped, but this is a common point in both Spain and Italy. Reception were helpful if anything was missing.

Warm swimming pool. In reception friendly staff

It is obviously not 4 star hotel. They don’t have restaurant or cafe - and breakfast doesn’t worth of buying - waisting your money. Breakfast is in a bar - kiosk next to the pool. It is super small and unhygienic. Cooker and waitress are without any dress code. Food from Lidl and there is no buffet so you will eat what they will bring you. As in each apartment there is kitchen I recommend cook by yourself as Lidl supermarket is just on the other side of the road - very close. This hotel needs to be refurbished, it is very old and dirty. From the curtains in the bathroom to the all furniture. As we checked in our apartments toilet was very dirty with some shit on it - disgusting. We asked lady to clean it but no luck. They as well changing only towels there is no hygiene package (only when you checked in they gives you small bar of soap and shower gel, when I asked more, they told they are not giving it as it is only as a welcome from the hotel when you check in)… We had bad experience, as our door was broken, and we could not to close it. Luckily in reception they reacted very fast and send us a guy who fixed it - and told us oh it is the same door it is not first time, it must be changed completely but hotel don’t want to change, so he just used hammer and couple of nails ? So If you expecting a 4 star hotel so just you know it is not. I would give only 2+

The worst hotel with sticky floors

The rooms were dirthy with sticky floors, kitchen and bathroon calls for renovation. The general cleaning would help to improve the situation, poor room cleaning, didnt even clean on day 3 floors, just took out the bin! Dont think they do proper cleaning between customers. Had to ask for blankets. The rooms smelled bad from canalisation. Washing mashine didnt work. The beach is very far to walk with kids and pool is not warm enough for kids in the first half of day! Nightmare to walk around hotel with stroll, to get out, had to use 2 seperate elevators and cross parking. Small terase with no sun, we were 6 persons and couldnt simply fit there! The worst hotel I ever been!
