Rysara Hotel

Everyone made me feel very welcome here at the Rysara Hotel. Checked in late and got treated well with an upgrade. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and within a walking distance to a small beach. Breakfast choices were abundant, and dinner was great. The hotel's staff includes the general manager to front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant teams were very kind, and extremely helpful. I definitely recommend a stay at the Rysara Hotel.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. Its fantastic and secure location, right in the heart of Dakar's downtown, makes it perfect for exploring the city. The staff (from the reception and restaurant to housekeeping)went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay, even helping us deal with a taxi driver who tried to overcharge us. Their friendly and attentive service made all the difference.Breakfast was great. The restaurant offers a variety of cold options and allows customers to order eggs made to their liking. It is also open late and serves meals throughout the day if needed.Overall, this hotel is a true gem in the vibrant hub of Dakar. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service!

Nice stay at a great hotel. Only one night, the hotel is modern, in a quiet part of town near many of the city's embassies, not a lot of shopping or restaurants close but the hotel dining room was good. Staff was wonderful, room was large and clean.

We traveled for a family medical emergency. The staff were kind, considerate, and compassionate. The facilities are modern and exceptionally clean.

I have no complaints.

A gem in Dakar, wide rooms with big windows and new furniture, Great breakfast to be served inside in a clean and elegant space or outside in a cozy open air area at ground level, staff is definetely top!!!

The room and services were excellent. Excellent range of choices for breakfast - I especially liked the fresh fruit and the pastries. The location was very quiet and convenient - only 4 minutes by taxi to the centre. The hotel is 3 minutes walk to the coast where there are great views and walks.

Fabulous food! Pastries at breakfast were as good as any I had during my 7 years living in France. Evening meals were excellent and I ate there most nights.Location is good in the centre of the Plateau.Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. It has a warm and welcoming feeling as a small boutique hotel.

Prices are high, reflecting the exclusiveness of the area and the high quality of everything in the hotel.

Everything, especially the attention of the staff at all levels and the strong and pleasant family owned business feel.

The food could be better, it is absolutely not bad and probably above standards in Dakar, but could be tremendously improved if they just change the oive oil ? (it's pretty much the same in many hotels/restaurants)

The hotel is on a quite street and near the main areas of Dakar. Easy to walk or hail a taxi; your choice. A 5 min walked the other direction and you’ll ended up overlooking the ocean. The view was remarkable. There is a restaurant on sight. Although breakfast was included. I also had lunch and throughly enjoyed the food. It has both inside and outside private seating. and noticed the customers were not only guest of the hotel but external customers. The rooms had comfortable bed and all amenities functioning great. As I said to the GM I will be back on my next visit to DakarC’était magnifique !!

If I had any issues it was quickly resolved.

The staff was very accommodating and the room clean and comfortable. The AC was not on when I arrived but cooled the room quickly. Dinner at the restaurant was great.

There was an enormous hole in the bath towel.

The breakfast was a nice continental choice we were visiting a local hospital which was a two minute walk.

There was a small landing on the ground floor which both my wife and I stumbled off. When I told reception they said there should be a black mat which the cleaners had removed. Next time I used the lift the mat was back. I suggested they put a black and yellow strip at the top of the step

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was big and spacious with good a/c and nice and clean. Good location.

Our entire stay at Rysara was wonderful. From check in to checkout we were well taken care of by the staff. Everyone was so polite, helpful and accommodating. The rooms were very clean, very quiet and well equipped. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and a few cocktails out on the patio. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay an extra night. Highly recommend!
