Cons -
- The room is old. My bathroom was not working and it took many hours before they fixed it and they refused to change my room. (It took 5 hours to fix my bathroom) Also, I got sick after eating at their restaurant.
- Very old rooms Bathrooms dirty Hot water not working properly
- No smart TV’s in the rooms. Very small bathtub with just running HOT water, no cold water on our first night

The place/location is nice with the swimming pool with sea view unfortunately the hotel is not well maintained
It should be renovated urgently
view was great. The room was a bit old but clean. Some plugs wouldn't work.
Some rooms are a bit old, need rework.
the price was worth. location excelente. staff awesome and friendly
Location by the ocean
Poor service and very old hotel
Great Hotel, nice breakfast though limited choices, but room smells humidity and needs to be renewed.
cleanness , smells humidity in the room
Lovely room, great views over pool and sea. Lovely staff. Disliked my aircon - broken
Large, 50m pool. Good buffet breakfast
Hotel has clearly seen better times
The hotel failed to meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The room was dirty, with peeling paint and worn-out furniture. There were no towels or toiletries provided, and the bathroom was in a state of disrepair.
Everthing
Beautiful pool and vibes
The bathroom I got was completely rusty, and very dangerous. The WiFi was bad so they had to give me a modem just for my room. They changed my room when I showed them the pictures. There was cat poo outside in the hallways and in the breakfast area the ceiling was often leaking so there was a bucket. It used to be a beautiful hotel but it’s clearly run down now
Good restaurant and kind staff
A little dated but still ok
The view of the water from the room was beautiful. Location was good to walk into town during the day.
The rooms seriously need to be updated. Repair or cleanup from minor damage or from previous repairs does not happen. You can't walk in the area at night due to safety concerns.
The location was great!
This hotel is nothing like the pictures or what it claims to be. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the place was outdated, with broken furniture that looked decades old.The first room they gave us was completely dysfunctional nothing worked. The toilet didn’t flush, water was running non-stop, the TV and room phone were useless, and the entire room had a terrible smell. On top of that, we could hear every word of our neighbors’ conversation. We immediately requested a room change, but the second room was even worse. We found a cockroach, the toilet was still broken, and the patio door didn’t close properly, creating a serious safety concern that the staff ignored when we reported it. The bathroom was a disaster mold, rust, and everything falling apart.Thankfully, we were only there for one night, too exhausted to fight for yet another room change. This hotel is filthy, neglected, and clearly not maintained. Do yourself a favor—avoid it at all costs. Easily the worst hotel in Dakar.
Friendly staff. Nice grounds with pool by the ocean and food was good. Relaxed atmosphere. Room was clean.
A bit away from city, which was fine for us but might not suit some people. Service can be a little slow, but it's Africa so just chill!
The hotel workers are defrauding the customers. They stole a new phone 16 pro in its box from the room, and they denied it . When we contacted Booking , they said that they would investigate the matter, but they did not do anything

The location was good.
Communication problems made staying here an unpleasant experience. If I returned to Dakar, I'd stay somewhere more modern. The first day I went to breakfast and it was fairly meager, it wasn't until the 2nd day that I discovered, they would prepare eggs for you if you asked the right person. Again, no communication. The staff seemed helpful, and if they really were I could forgive the dying roach and all the mildew in my bathroom or the outlets that didn't work but their help always ended up causing more problems for me.
The 50M pool is nice for doing some sport and relaxing a bit but it is pretty cool. The cook prepared very nice local dishes!! Very good!Pretty close to Independence place.
This is a very old building, with really old-fashion rooms and deco. The fitness room is old, dirty and with non functioning items. The “beach” is a disaster. The price is overrated!
Excellent reception staff with good launguage skills. They have long memories if you have stayed with them before. The restaurant food is great quality and value. Portion sizes are generous. Drinks prices are compatible with similar hotels in the area. The pool is big enough for the olympics, and is kept spotlessly clean. There are plenty of staff around the pool area watching out for children. There is a walkway to reach the beach that bypasses their tennis court, and this area is kept clean and tidy too. The beds are very comfortable and the room service is efficient and courteous. All in all a nice hotel for business or a vacation.
There is a long staircase to descend in order to reach the rooms from the reception. I have some arthritis in my knees and this does cause me some pain when going up or down.
