definitely the best hotel in Petrovac. The location simply couldn't be better, right on the seashore with a wonderful view of the whole of Petrovac. Beach in front of the hotel, Beautiful restaurant with very tasty food. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is hospitable and will meet you for all your requests. All recommendations for future guests !!!

Hotel is located in a very cozy/small city nearthe beach. Rooms are modern and well isolated from noise.Staff is really nice and friendly, very supportive!Breakfasts are really nice and tasty!

You need to pay extra for beach cot and makea reservation for them.We informed staff during check-in about earlycheck-out and asked for lunch boxes. Also, remindedone day prior. Everyone forgot about us at all, we werewaiting for a personal to make a check-out and did notget any lunch boxes at all. Food in the restaurant might be improved,portion, texture and taste.

This was one of the nicest experiences we had in a hotel ever. The staff (from receptionist to waiters and manager) were so kind through our whole stay at the Riva. The room was very tidy, spacious and modern with enough space in the closets and nice bathroom and shower. Breakfast is very luxurious and dinner is delicous and not expensive if you know which good food you get. The manager is a very nice guy who keeps contact with every hotelguest at the tables and was extremely kind to all. We could park our car every time in front of the hotel (private parking) or down in the underground parking. Strongly recommend this place to who wants to stay at a hotel without any concerns. Thanks again to al the staff and especially to the manager for taken such good care of us! :)

Great location on the lovely beach, hotel has a private area for sunbeds which was a nice feature. Staff are fantastic and we felt very well looked after by everyone throughout our entire stay.

Room could have been a bit cleaner, bed wasn't that comfy but only very minor details!

The Riva hotel is on the first line of the beachfront with access to the best of Petrovac's swimming area.. The restaurant seating is between the promenade and the beach so guests are having their meals with an unobstructed view of the sea. The dining experience was first class, with excellent wait staff, outstanding meal selections and quality. When we return to Montenegro next year the Riva will be at the top of our list.

Automobile access to the hotel was blocked by vehicles parked in front of adjacent hotels. Petrovac seems to be an overly dense collection of hotels with inadequate parking, even in the off-season.

The location was perfect, and the sea view room was very comfortable with an excellent view. Staff very friendly

No sun loungers during the stay was a big disappointment

I had an amazing stay at Riva as a sole traveler. From the moment I have entered to the hotel (with my bag delayed by Austrian by 24hrs) to the moment I have left 4 days later, I experienced only support, care, hospitality and friendliness. I have chosen to eat at their restaurant breakfast (included), lunch and dinner simply because of the view (sea front), delicious seafood choices and absolutely amazing staff! I usually choose Bonvoy Hotels (former Starwood) due to Titanium status, but since it was a small town with only a few hotels, I can say with absolutely confidence that it exceeded my experience on every level.

I have wrote a recommendation about the pillows but it is my personal preference to have a medium supper rather then firm of flat. And next time Ill choose a Sea front view room, was disappointed in myself that booked the Mountain View not hotels choice to be fully booked and not being able to upgrade ;-), I am sure

Gorgeous Hotel that provides you with great service. The restaurant food is a added bonus and serve delicious breakfast.

The hotel is very well maintained, the staff goes over and beyond to make you feel taken care of and comfortable and the proximity to the beach is amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff, the location, the view, the beach. Everything about the property was very appealing. it is a gem of a property.

Great location and directly on the beach. Staff was always very friendly. We had a nice view from our sea view room and a drying rack for our beach wear and towels on the balcony. A lot of choice for breakfast. Food at the Restaurant in the evening was also very good. There is an underground parking with valet service.

First impressions was of a stained carpet under the bed, which was probably cleaned but looked a bit unappealing. The water was leaking from the shower causing a small puddle in the bathroom and sometimes it also smelled bad from the drain. We found some stuff from the previous guests. We were hoping for a small gesture by the hotel after reporting several small problems, but nothing was offered (they sure dont have to, but it would feel nice as we felt that the room was a bit expensive and you would expect a perfect experience for that price).

I got upgraded to a room with the see view and it was magnificent! Bed was really comfortable and big, everything was exceptionally clean. The staff was incredibly polite and made me feel welcome every time I saw them. They reserve tables near the beach for hotel guests both for breakfast and dinner. The reception desk was always available for every question or help I needed.

The variety of cheeses for breakfast could be better. There are many local cheeses that can be found in Montenegro and it would be nice to have them instead of store-bought ones, since this is a five star hotel. Proscuitto was there, thou, and it was great. :) There are also not many options for vegan meals. Sunbeds and shades on a private beach are not included in the price of the room.

The staff and the boss are very kind. Mr Petar upgraded our room with a seaview room, he was very kind and communicative. The hotel exceeded our expectations, we had a great holiday. The room was very clean, the beach was very quiet and clean, the food in the restaurant was excellent. n fact the hotel is a 5 star quality.All the staff was very thoughtful, they even give each person a bottle of water, this means that they think everything in details.We will definitely come back.Thank you to Mr Petar and all the staff.

My boyfriend and I spent few days in Hotel Riva last week. We were lucky to find an available room in the last minute through Booking, because this hotel was already fully booked. The best decision we ever made was spending our short holidays in Hotel Riva, Petrovac. Everything was just better than we could ever imagined. First of all, the location of this hotel is perfect, the private beach of the hotel right in front of the facility was very clean, comfy and tidy, with an excellent service. Whatever you need, you just order and the waiter will bring them right immediately. The staff was VERYYY friendly, polite and helpful, we even made new friends :). The breakfast was soooo delicious and with lots of choices. We enjoyed the breakfast with an excellent sea view from the terrace of the restorant. We also had other meals in the hotel, the menu was very rich with an exceptional cuisine. All the space of the facility, including the restaurant (inside and outside), the hallways and the rooms were HIGHLY cleaned. The room had enough space, it was comfy and cozy. We are definitely sure we'll choose Riva again, on our next trip in Petrovac. Besides, Petrovac is one of the best small towns I've ever visited, with its crystal sea water and marvelous beaches.

The public beach near of the private beach of hotel Riva was a bit crouded and noisy. The background view of the hotel could have been more pleasant.
