    • My stay at Swissôtel Resort Kolašin was nothing short of outstanding and exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail that immediately made us feel special. The hotel itself is stunning — elegant alpine architecture, immaculate rooms, breathtaking mountain views, and a peaceful atmosphere. What truly sets this resort apart, however, is the extraordinary service of the staff. Every single member of the team was attentive, polite, and consistently went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. A very special mention goes to Daniel from the restaurant staff, who turned every meal into a memorable experience. His professionalism, positive attitude, impeccable manners, and sincere care for guests reflect the highest standards of hospitality. Daniel anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made us feel valued at all times. The food quality was very good, with refined presentation, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavors. Breakfasts were generous and varied, while dinners were elegant and relaxing, enhanced by the warm and attentive service.Swissôtel Resort Kolašin is not just a hotel — it is an experience of refined comfort, genuine hospitality, and flawless service. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect mountain retreat with a human touch that truly makes the difference. We will definitely return.
    • Great BreakfastFacilities are newRoom as cleanHelpful staffSimple Good foodSimple good gym
    • The staff was amazingly nice and helpful, the food was excellent, the room was comfortable and well equipped with a small kitchenette. It's near the ski resort so off season it was isolated and quiet.

    Cons -

    • Service quality decreased a lot when the hotel was fullCleaning staff forgot to refill room amenitiesHotel doesn’t have clear guidelines in the common spaces (gym is always with children and with other guest that are on swimming clothes and barefoot)Some guests are allowed to smoke on closed restaurant areas Some employees were not helpful in resolving adverse situations
    • The road from kolasin is dark and not well maintained, drive carefully.
    • The swimming pool and spa was not working. They should mention it while booking. Also the TV had only youtube. The hotel network didn't allow to watch Netflix. You cannot connect your phone which is very basic and we found it in all small apartments even. So you expect that in such big hotel. After the shower the bathroom becomes wet as not fully closed.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Looks and decor were amazing. Food was too good. Loved the gnocci and Caprese salad with olive oil sorbet.

Standard room was specious, clean, and comfortable. New hotel.Gym was well equipped and well kept. Pool area is nice but might be too small for when the hotel is full in winter.Breakfast was great! All in all great experience.

Sauna didnt work (after one year since opening...) and it wasnt mentioned in Booking (another hotel of the same level did mention that their indoor pool did not work)In the room, not quite sure why the dinning table is so huge taking so much space. Not critical but a weird design decision.

Beauriful place! Very big rooms and beds.Nice spa and restaurant.

    7bezurogPosted on: 9-28-2025

Perfect breakfast, comfortable room, two TVs in the room with SmartTV. Nice kitchen in the room, everything was clear. Personal is polite and friendly.

Price in restaurant extremely high, but it wasn't tasty and vegetables weren't fresh in salads. Sauna didn't work. Gym is poor. Price includes tips and covers for two person, we didn't know about it and overpaid by 15 euros for dinner. This is unacceptable.

    The spa was too small

The hotel is modern , rooms are great , breakfast and dinner were good and the location at 1600m is fantastic

    2VanjaPosted on: 8-19-2025

    The location and spa staff.

We were given unprepared room, even though it was after check in time - we got there around 4pm. Dinner was menu based because of the small number of guests at the hotel, and food was very badly prepared. There was sewer smell in the room at times, pretty bad.

I can see a huge untapped potential in Swissotel Kolasin. Some aspects of our stay were great, while some others fell short of expectations. The building itself is new and overall nothing short of amazing. It also comes with a spa area that includes a swimming pool (albeit small) and a sauna. Our room was reasonably large and included a bedroom zone as well as a living room with a kitchen annex.Despite there is not much to do during summer time (which is understandable as the resort cluster is not yet completed), they did their best to gather a list of really nice outdoor activities. We enjoyed taking a cable car to Troglava mountain known for its breathtaking views.

The elephant in the room is that Swissotel is the only hotel that is, as of now, operational out of more than a dozen hotels of a huge Kolasin Valleys cluster. Given that the construction has effectively stopped, it seems highly unlikely that the cluster (as well as the roads, outdoor areas and recreational infrastructure) will be completed before 2030. So basically Swissotel is standing lonely in the middle of nowhere, and it will be so for at least a few more years. While the building is great, the room itself suffers from a number of minor issues many of which can be quickly fixed if the management is capable — which remains to be seen. Too many pieces of furniture clutter the (otherwise spacious) room. The upper shower head is unusable and has to be lowered and replaced with a better model. The wooden flooring is of poor quality with multiple gaps between the boards. I have a long list of the issues. The restaurant, while being good overall, is seriously overpriced, as if it is in Courchevel, not in Kolasin. The service needs to step up. They asked me in advance about my expected time of arrival. I told them I might be coming at about 12 p.m., so they promised to pass the information to the front desk who would do their best to make the room ready in time. Nevertheless, the first thing I heard upon arrival was unwelcoming “the check-in is at 3 p.m.” The hotel was half-empty, so it was very easy to give us the room at 12 p.m. if they wanted to. I understand they did not have to, sure, but why bother asking about time of arrival if they never intended to do anything about it?Also, they gave us a room with some kind of bad smell (which they for sure knew about), and the only reason we did not ask to change the room was that we were really tired after a trip and long waiting for the room.

Beautiful property, clean, amazing location, nice service

The food was average I would have preferred more local cousin and typical for this area of Montenegro

The best hotel in Kolasin so far. It’s everything new of course, very clean. Very attentive. They have left for us a box of chocolates and a handwritten welcome card. It really felt very good.

The indoor pool is a bit small, but still very cool the atmosphere at the spa area.

We have enjoyed our stay in Swissotel Kolasin. The front desk staff is very friendly, especially Dragana who was very helpful in resolving an issue we had. The decor and feel of the front desk is very nice. We loved breakfast! The ski room charges you a daily fee per guest however your boots are dry in the morning and your equipment looked after so for us it was worth it. We liked that you can ski from the ski room straight to the lift (not for beginners). We appreciated the coffee pods and Rituals bathroom amenities. We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

The hotel needs to hire part time housekeeping staff in anticipation of busy ski weekends as the full time staff is unable to man the requirements of high occupancy weekends. They are hard working but just very understaffed for a full house. The beds are very very hard.

We had a wonderful family stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was cozy and warm, with a beautifully designed mountain aesthetic that created a relaxing and inviting vibe. The food was decent, offering a good variety, and the spacious suite was perfect for our family. We particularly enjoyed the large bathroom, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it was a lovely experience with a great ambiance.

However, there were a few concerns that affected our stay. The spa area, although pleasant, had extremely slippery tiles, which made it a bit hazardous. The biggest issue, though, was the freestanding bioethanol fireplace in the middle of the spa area. It had sharp-edged glass that could easily cause injury, and to make matters worse, it was never turned on during our stay, making it seem unnecessary and unsafe. Additionally, while the bathroom in our suite was spacious, the small sink offered very little space for toiletries, which made things a bit inconvenient.
