Comfort Inn Dunmore - Scranton East

It was a super convenient location with lots of parking and a clean, comfortable room.

The breakfast was weak compared to other hotels of the same brand but the biggest knock was that nobody was clearing the snow from the walkway from the parking lot to the entrance, we had to carry our bags through ankle deep snow.

Hotel needed to be updated, I booked 2 rooms. 1 room smelled like moldy. Was told there was no other room available. Dust was on the furniture and wall were dirty

Hotel is not in a good condition, the room has mold and hitting is not working properly the breakfast is not good in overall the hotel need a lot of improvement. Maybe that?s why didn?t have not guests in there.

This is a baseline hotel minimal amenities in terms of space in a room; Room decoration and maintenance [wallpaper,paint chips etc]. Reception staff at the front desk is absurdly not involved With my check in process - Was he an android?

I booked for 2 rooms - for some reason the front office clerk only saw one room - I kept trying to give him my confirmation number that indicates that I do indeed have 2 rooms booked. He wouldn't look up any confirmation number, or even l

The cleanliness, the hot breakfast & the staff are exceptional.

So the beds are very high & hard to get into. If there was an option for a step to help us elders & those that are vertically challenged it would be appreciated.

The smoke detectors were covered with plastic bags, the toilet was not bolted to floor. Dirty. Mold in bathroom

The front attendant was nice and the bed was nice.

The room was not cleaned properly, including dirty walls and a bathroom that was not nice and clean to use. Breakfast was not the best either and we decided to go to the Starbucks nearby.

The front desk manager's conduct is horrific. Rude, belligerent, nasty comments, eye rolling. No greeting. Accused of stealing bed pillows. Housekeeping argues over towels. Can't get even ONE extra No blanket, sheet, extra pillow NEVER AGAIN

Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable.

Bathroom was a little dingy. (Rust on the drop ceiling dividers. Some hair in the corner of the bathroom floor.)

When I woke up to shower, the water was brown. Unable to take a shower so the hotel was worthless. Also, I was traveling alone and scared at the hotel. Very loud hallway and felt unsafe

Staff was very pleasant. Very close to restaurants, grocery store, highway. The bed was covered w a memory foam topper. Good A/C!

Very small room. Bathroom was covered in hair - not ours!! Breakfast had few options, no coffee cups, coffee itself was passable.

Location was good. General appearance was good.

Breakfast was OK as far as hot breakfast they only had waffles.

Flanigans Restaurant adjoined the Inn, so the breakfast each morning was actually a pretty decent breakfast, with excellent service by the staff there.

The outside of the motel has been let go, as well as some things about the inside, wallpaper peeling off the walls. The parking was insufficient and part of it was located in a very dark and unlit area behind the hotel where it did not feel safe to park.

Staff was nice

Coffe was not good. No toast, room- hole in wall in bathroom.

We stayed in a crappy hotel the night before in Bangor, so this hotel looked like the Ritz to us. We were pleased it was near a wonderful grocery store. We had the meal we wanted after our long road trip.

When we checked in and found the sink wouldn¿t drain, they came right away to fix it.

The free breakfast consisted of mainly carbs and unhealthy options.
