Nothing, absolutely nothing.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Tawila island. It’s simply a piece of heaven on earth. Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations, the resort is exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, with every detail cared for in a way that makes you feel instantly relaxed and comfortable. We stayed in the room with the pool, the view is exceptional and unmatched. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible kindness and warmth of the staff. Every interaction was met with genuine smiles, helpfulness, and a level of hospitality that made the stay feel personal and memorable. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and well taken care of. The overall experience has been nothing short of amazing—peaceful, enjoyable, and refreshing. From the serene surroundings to the impeccable service, this resort is a perfect escape. We’re truly grateful for such a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, mesmerizing, and uplifting getaway.

The Team attention to details is amazing .. they are extremely friendly and their hospitality is truly genuine .. the rooms is modern and spacious and the food is amazing.

Nothing at all .. everything was wonderful

This is a five-star hotel. We really didn’t know what to expect, so we only booked one night. I wish it was more. We arrived from Cairo by plane (recommended), and we took a cab from the airport to the port where there was a speedboat waiting to take us to the island. Forty-five minutes later, we arrived and were greeted by Karm, who was our go-to person on the island. Anything we needed, Karm was always attentive and responsive.Check-in was done by WhatsApp in advance, so we stopped at the lobby, got the keys from Hend, who was the front desk receptionist. She was pleasant to deal with and very helpful. We also met Moustafe, the manager, and he also went above and beyond.We checked into a beachfront room, 102. The room is hard to describe — it truly was breathtaking. You open your veranda door and you’re on the sand with your own private beach. The beach has crystal-clear waters. It’s like we were transported to the Maldives, except without the 24-hour flight from the US.We booked all-inclusive, which included all meals and soft drinks. Alcohol was not included but could be purchased. Breakfast was nice. Views while eating were phenomenal. Dinner was served at the Reeds restaurant — food was tasty and service was wonderful, especially Mariham. Overall, we had an excellent experience. Would have loved to extend our stay, but we had reservations elsewhere. It’s going to be hard to find another hotel in the El Gouna area that combines such natural beauty, great rooms, a wonderful swimmable beach, and outstanding service. God willing, we will be back.

No activity at all in the sea or after sunset beach hours.Water glasses services are funny… serving water and juice over breakfast only by order … no station for coffee or tea over breakfast Food variety are not up to the level of marketing used for the hotel. Mediocre.

The breakfast buffet could benefit from a bit more variety to better match the overall quality of the service.

The place is a piece of heaven. Very clean and modern facilities. Polite staff trying to be helpful. Gym is well equipped and coach Islam is efficient.

No direct access from water suite which was quite disappointing. Room service is with extra charge (to deliver the food to the room). The staff although polite they are demotivated, you can tell they didn’t get adequate training. Entertainment at dinner is on weekends only. The one person responsible of the gym is not friendly at all although the facilities are exquisite.

This resort is absolute gem, quite unique place in Egypt. The stuff is magnificent, very polite and helpful. Food and service is excellent, beach bungalows are spacious and well equipped. WiFi was working well, boat transport is included in the price. As many reviewers noticed, it is better than Maldives. Highly recommended!

It was a dreamlike experience.. out of this world. I’m thinking when can we go back !! The staff were friendly and helpful and amazing host.The lunch and dinner menu were soooo delicious . The beach is crystal clear .We book a bungalow with private pool and it was exactly like the pictures and maybe more luxurious.The place give spa vibe . And I don’t want to speak about the spa … it’s ON the water !! The golfcar are on spot and it take you everywhere if you don’t like to walk but we enjoy walking around .I recommend to book room with an all inclusive .

The breakfast menu needs to add more options. The boat move once daily ( from and to island) and it does not match our trip so we book a hotel for one night to catch the boat in the morning.We wish there is a private ladies beach .

It was outstanding experience, we booked the water bungalow suite, the view is breathtaking the weather is even better than the main seashore of Hurgada, the room is branded and minor details is taking care off, the food quality is suburb, and the beach is sandy with crystal clear sea, in my travel experience in +50 cities around the world, this is one of my best experience

The ground is littered with broken glass, causing the foot to be injured.Flies are rampant in the bedroom.The massage is very poor.The security level is poor.Some menu items are not available.Transportation from port to the island is poor and not safe.They charged us transportation fees even though they were included in the reservation.

The location itself resembles a paradise where one can unwind and enjoy the sea.The only positive aspect, aside from the natural beauty of the area, was the two talented and humble waitstaff, Ahmed Nabil and Mahmoud Asaad, who went above and beyond to address the shortcomings in food service. I am truly grateful for their efforts.

The management of the facility is quite poor and seems clueless about how to handle customers who have spent a significant amount of money but received none of the expected services. They are unresponsive to even the simplest requests.The food quality is very low, with limited options, and the taste leaves much to be desired. It seems necessary to replace the current chef’s with individuals who genuinely care about customer satisfaction.We encountered an issue with water supply in the shower area and spent over an hour trying to resolve it without any apology or explanation Whenever we requested basic extras, the options were very limited. Additionally, one European receptionist was very unkind and unprofessional in her interactions with us.Unfortunately, I fear this wonderful place may face closure due to the mindset of its management. I wish I could say I would return, but as long as the current management remains, I cannot endure the same disappointing experiences again.

Tawila Island is truly a paradise on earth! The island looks like something out of a fairy tale – turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and an atmosphere reminiscent of the Maldives. The service is top-notch, with staff always helpful and friendly. The standard of the resort surpasses many top hotels, with every detail carefully thought out. The food was excellent – diverse, fresh, and beautifully presented. A perfect place to relax and escape from reality. We will definitely be back!

An absolute hidden gem. On par with the Maldives for me! I can’t put into words how stunning this island is. I’ve never experienced such amazing staff who couldn’t have been more attentive and friendly. It’s so well looked after, and is pure luxury. We already can’t wait to come back and see familiar faces. Nothing - it was perfect

The location is amazing and very easy to reach from El Gouna . Since when we have arrived we had an amazing treatment from all the team members . Reception and restaurant team was very nice and welcoming , the chef was unbelievable as the food was delicious and high quality ( from the breakfast to the dinner ) as Italian I can say that the Italian menu ‘ was really Italian . The guy working at the gym was extremely nice with us giving his professional advice. Most impressing thing about the team is that the guy working at the beach land me his personal suit for diving as I was feeling a bit cold and took us to watch the reef and tropical fish . This paradise will be co forever in my heart and I’ll definitely come back ( I was twice in Maldives and didn’t get the same treatment and same delicious food ) I have actually preferred this island to the Maldives . Thanks you so much !

I like absolutely everything

Location, clean rooms, beautiful view and great hospitality.

The stuff, you should upgrade to professional ones or foreign ones to represent the hotel. Also for the food you should update the menu, variety and quality as well.

The room, the view, the resort and especially the new year's celebration were amazing. Any other hotel inland cannot even compare to this place.The boat trip was also pleasant.

Could be more of local food on offer.As well separate paths for walking and golf-cart transportation of guest would be appreciated by guests, who like to walk...This is not really bad but just for travellers to be aware that there was only one trip per day and if your flight is before 19:00, you risk not to catch it. We took a buffer night in Hurghada.
