The views only and the food are not bad .

The hotel is so big and everything is far from each other, the restaurant is far from the beach and far from the pool , all the rooms need renovation as the rooms are so old , the snaks is so bad and not worthy .

Superior location, great beach, and of course the cheerful & supportive staff, specially Mohamad Shabeeb in the restaurant, Ramadan on the beach, Amr from House Keeping and Mr. Fahd in the reception, of course we will go there again In Shaa Allah.

Some of the staff need to have more awareness and learning about hygiene, food quality is average, also rooms need a lot of renovation, I really hope that the management work on these issues as the hotel really deserves to be better.

I arrived at Siva Makadi Bay with modest expectations — a quick booking on Booking.com, nothing more. What I found was far beyond anything I anticipated.I stayed in a bungalow overlooking the sea, complete with a private garden and a small veranda. It’s the kind of view that slows you down instantly. A quick note for travelers: the bungalows are beautiful and peaceful, but they do sit farther out. If long walks aren’t your thing, choose a room closer to the main building. If you enjoy quiet corners and don’t mind a daily 15-minute stroll, the bungalows are perfect.As a food reviewer, I pay attention to details. The food here is exceptional — not “resort good,” but genuinely impressive.The all-inclusive selection is huge, constantly rotating, and honestly more than enough for anyone who enjoys variety. Drinks are simpler: local cocktails, beer, and a few spirits. It’s basic but sufficient, and you can always order premium options for a small extra charge.Breakfast sets the tone: live cooking stations, omelettes, fresh Egyptian dishes, and more variety than you’d expect.During the day, you don’t even need to leave the beach — multiple food stations serve different snacks and meals, and they’re generous. At lunch, the main restaurant offers another substantial buffet with new options every day.Dinner is where this resort truly shines.There are four à la carte restaurants, and booking is a must. I tried three:- Steakhouse: Highly recommend the Chateaubriand — it was the standout dish of my entire stay.- Italian: Proper, comforting Italian flavours. Don’t skip the lasagna.- Fish House: Save this one for last. It’s the best. Fresh seafood, excellent appetizers, and flawless grilling. Bangloos are very far.. lots of walking. Stay in rooms in the main building is more convenient.

If you really want to see how hotels in Egypt looked during late 90s - choose this one. It's one of those rare hotels that is still in it's older state - in the middle of nowhere, classic old architecture, classic main restraunt. Ample siting space outside was also great. Also if you're there for a beach and views - this one will definitely not siappoint. Very good house reef suitable for both snorkling and diving, amazing sea views and elevated room location with on-demand shuttles running from beach to hotel. I would also commend efforts of shift leader Mr. Rezek who tried their hardest to make our stay exceptional! If you don't mind older rooms and value old vibe and amazing sea - that's the one for you.

Food variety and quality is not too great unfortunately, especially given the price. Juices are made from concentrate and I don't even a single fruit was harmed in their preparation. I had to call reception for 3+ hrs straight to get my laundry collected and visit and call reception for more than 4 times to get my fridge replaced as it had black mold inside. A-la cart restaraunts are also not too great, as portions were laughingly small and even mint tea was 2EUR extra.

Everything was great, the quality of the food and the variety was sooo good,also the dishes was so clean .. the staff was so nice and helpful especially M-D Manager of the main restaurant (Mohamed El-Sayed), also the head waiter (Hossam Ewis) both of them were friendly and helpful .. and special thanks to the receptionist (Demiana) she was was nice and friendly .. we enjoyed our stay there and definitely will come back again♡.

Short on housekeeping stuff , rooms are old, mattresses are extremely uncomfortable , AC made electrical buzzing

Beds are little bit stiff, far from city centre transfer costs high, entertainment events are not that entertaining

I absolutely loved my stay at Siva Golden Bay Makadi. The hotel is exceptional — beautifully maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The beach is simply stunning, with crystal-clear water, soft golden sand, and an amazing view that makes it hard to leave. Everything felt calm, relaxing, and perfectly organized. It’s truly one of the best spots in Hurghada for anyone looking for both comfort and natural beauty.

The sea and the beach are amazing. The whole crew is very helpful and friendly at the hotel. İ liked my stay very much and extended my vacation for a few more days. The GM Mr.Fahad is there to help you with his best. Thank you very much Mr.Fahad for all your support.

I was a little apprehensive before coming here after reading other reviews, but I found this hotel to be truly fantastic and a great value, exceeding my expectations! It's an established resort hotel, and while the rooms aren't luxurious or fancy, they're clean and tidy, with complete bathroom facilities, and not as dated as some reviews suggest. I didn't see many Asian people during the National Day holiday, but the staff were warm and friendly. The highlight is the bay, which is absolutely stunning, just like the promotional photos, and the water is incredibly clean. The bay faces east, so the sun shines brightly in the morning. If you're afraid of the sun, go around 4 p.m., when the sand dunes to the west provide just enough shade, making it perfect for a dip! I highly recommend it for a day or two of rest in Hurghada while traveling in Egypt!

- location is perfect- the smile of all the staff- the beach is perfect - the food was very good - aqua is good

- animation team wasn’t active enough - the time table of kids club and theater wasn’t mentioned in the instructions sheet we got when check in- the pool needs to be bigger and needs to be more than 2 to serve all the hotel perfectly
