Studio Orient Bay

Beautiful, clean, on the beach, staff I encountered were over the top helpful and nice.

The room was great, beautiful views and easy walk to beach restaurants and bars. The location is pretty central for the French side of the island, an easy drive to Grand Case and Marigot for nice restaurants.

The parking lot was a little far from the room so carrying luggage was a task, but it was worth it once you walk in and see the view.

The place has very nice view to the ocean in very quite environment. The beach is close, you may see it from the appartement. Whatever you need is in the studio if you are missing something the store is few minutes away (walking).There are enough parking places available at the lower part of the settlement. I've got clear description how to reach the appartement, easy to find. Recommend it and I would use it again.

WI-FI is not the best - reasonable since the whole settlement is full of overlapping signals. Nothing to worry about at least for us, we were out most of the time. The appartement is on the hill, mid way between beach and store. Not optimal since I have some knee problems but nothing which can not be handled. I would go there again.

Beautiful views, well equipped kitchen, everything worked, provided excellent beach towels that fit perfectly on beach lounge chairs, very large comfortable bed, they let us use their parking spot (otherwise it is a busy area and we would have had to park a long distance away).

The sofa was very soft and sank very deeply when trying to sit on it (actually unusable). Lots of light switches and it took the entire stay to figure out which switches controlled which lights.

Beautiful beachfront still secluded location with a scenic ocean view on the best island beach. You get a 5 km walking option right along the shore, with easy access to beach restaurants. Surfing and swimming are all right there, about 100 meters away from your home. The pool area is excellent and a real highlight for anyone who loves swimming or lounging poolside. A perfect mix of privacy, convenience, and an unbeatable beachfront setting. For supplies and groceries, there’s a large supermarket on the French side just a 10-minute drive from the property. Besides, in the same complex, there’s a convenience store and a pizzeria. The kitchen is fully equipped, and everything was clean and in great condition, with clearly recent upgrades. The apartment is a perfect size for a couple.Option B (slightly warmer):

We would have preferred an assigned parking spot, rather than having to search for one every time we needed to park. A minor improvement would be softer, higher-quality bath towels for added comfort.

The location is perfect close to the beach ...the studio was perfectly equipped bed was great and very comfortable, little kitchen to prepare eggs on the morning great shower as well

The interior is very dated, ants all around the house.Bedding was very uncomfortable. Sofa bed is uncomfortable to sleep on.

Parking is adventurous, and you will definitely want a car if you want to do anything other than walk the beach.

The food and the vibe on the French side 9f the island was great

It might have been good for the "resort" to have a couple luggage trellises to get all our stuff to the unit which was a bit of a walk

All the above. However, the address given was not the location, but an office off site. Cab driver very upset.

Staff response to failed items. No repairs ever done, except for the dry rack replacement.

Not great if you don’t have car

The property itself was really nice and it had everything. Be the location was very far from any shops etc . The beach was nice but a lot of sea grass and rough sea, there were a few beaches which were much better but you have to walk 25 minutes and when it is hot it was problematic . There was a nice large pool but there were no umbrellas so not shade at all .

As I said the property itself was nice , clean etc . It was more the location that was far and no clean beach and no shade .

Quiet resort, uninterrupted view of beach and sea. Good little shop and pizzeria on site.

Bathroom and kitchen in need of a little TLC. Tiles lifting in shower and mould in sealant. Not enough food storage space.

Great view! 15 min walk along the beach to downtown Orient Bay, they provide lawn chairs and umbrellas and a cooler!

Parking was inconvenient but no big deal!

The units are perfectly located on the quiet end of Orient Beach, but everything is accessible by strolling down the beach. We had a great view of the ocean and were close to the pool and beach. Everything worked great for us.

Parking can be hectic, but the dirt lot was close to our unit and has plenty of space. I could see that if you are mobility-challenged it could be difficult. Some of the units were being remodeled so there was on occasion a little construction noise but not a constant annoyance.

Located about a 15 minute beach walk from all the beach restaurants of Orient Bay. For us the perfect spot, also for gooiing to Pinel island. Very nice view of the beach and mountains. Very nice accommodation.

There are no facilities in the neighborhood for rental cars.

Well equipped studio, pretty design inside, great view, well equipped kitchen with full complement of spices, a very pleasant stay. The owners were very organized and timely in their instructions to get there and receive keys. The location of Mt Vernon residences is overlooking the West end of Orient Bay. We walked to Orient Bay village every day, 1500m for Wingfoiling. Kitesurfers could launch from just in front of Mt Vernon residences if experienced.The Mt Vernon residence also has a pizzeria and a grocery shop for all basic foods and liquor. The unit faces South overlooking Orient Bay. A nice view for sunrise and evenings.

Nothing at all. Having a car would be nice, but not necessary if you like to walk.
