Rooms are for folks coming in off of boats

Rooms are dark and cold, “prison chic” is how we described them.

The staff were really friendly and attentive, we loved Rafi the waitress, she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I would recommend this place.

The service from all the staff was impeccable. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and nothing was a problem for them. They were charming, always smiling and very professional. The room was very spacious and comfortable; the pool was small but lovely; the view over the marina, whilst not the beachside tropical paradise one might have hoped for, was nevertheless interetsing to watch and still great. The breakfasts were superb and the dinner we had one night also excellent. The location, within very easy walking distance of Nelson's Dockyard, numerous restaurants and bars, the vibrant beach of Pigeon Point, was ideal. In summary, the hotel was exceptional.

Very minor points in what is overall an excellent hotel: the carpark could do with a resurface as it slightly taints the rest of the well-kept hotel grounds and buildings; it would have been nice to have poolside service for drinks/snacks. Despite these I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

We chose to stay at South Point to enjoy the atmosphere and restaurants at English Harbour, Nelson’s Dock Yard and also Pigeon Point Beach, we were not disappointed and had a wonderful stay. The room was very spacious with self catering facilities, plenty of cupboards, a walk in wardrobe and a balcony looking onto the beautiful yachts in Falmouth Harbour. Straight opposite was a little beach and the hotel pool which were never too crowded and always had some shade. Wonderful staff and good breakfast helped to make our stay very enjoyable and relaxing.

The TV channels were limited and although plenty of furniture the sofas and sun beds were rather hard.

It seems they should give you more than one bag of coffee. You must buy and just two small bottles of water daily? Not sure but very tight relaxing great staff great views lovely room great location

Wonderful location in Falmouth Harbour within walking distance of great bars and restaurants and Catherine’s beach. Spacious apartment style room with furnished balcony and superb views over the harbour. Excellent staff and housekeeping. Great breakfast included. Lovely pool.

It was very noisy at times compared to previous visits (busy week with Caribbean 600 yacht race) especially on Sunday with Rose promotion in restaurant. DJ was ridiculously loud for several hours. One large group with noisy children dominated pool some afternoons (not hotels fault).

Friendly greet, location superb, room size very large, clean & daily service excellent, comfy bed, modern feel to the apartment, large dressing area and bathroom. Loved the pool (hardly anyone there!).

Whilst room large, with the only windows at the front felt dark in the room, lighting bit poor, our air-con didn't work properly but did get fixed eventually. Breakfast was ok, same every day although could order a choice of cooked food.

Lighting in the bathroom was poor. Sound from air con motors running all night next to bedroom. Mosquitoes were very bad.

staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough for you, nothing was too much to ask.

Wi-Fi was awful, dropped out frequently and wasn’t consistent throughout the property.
