Food...staff..pool!

Location and modern furniture

After each shower the bathroom turned into a pool because the water did not drain off.

Friendly,helpful staff

Should have small coolers in rooms. Should have at least 2 or 3 English channels on the TV. There were none. A lot of English speaking people stay at this hotel

The staff were very nice but housekeeping was questionable.

The room should have microwave and frig. As I slept a large cockroach landed on my shoulder. Two English stations on the t. V.

We arrived at the hotel only to be told that they were overbooked and did not have the room we had booked available. They gave us a one night stay at a different hotel on our way back but booking has emailed me since to say they were told I never showed.

Helpful staff, very good breakfast.

The rooms were really nice and very comfortable. The staff was attentive, and the location was within walking distance to many stores and night time activities.

Did not like the menu. Food was a bit bland

Poor communication...every time I needed something I had to go all the way down to the lobby.

The room was clean and secure. We had the breakfast buffet and it was really good.

The pool area needs some work. There were loose bricks around the pool and the pool needed some cleaning. There were what we call sugar ants in the room. The shower doors didn't lock in the water while showering so a lot of water got outside of the shower.

Pool was very nice with great vibes. The staff is all very kind and helpful.

Nothing they canceled my reservation and I showed up and had to go somewhere else I think they over booked.

The receptionists were attentive and friendly, and we checked in immediately upon arrival; however, I was informed that my reservation was for a single night, when in fact it was for two. The oversight was quickly resolved, which I appreciated.Diego went above and beyond to ensure our night out went smoothly—he arranged our cabs to and from town and was very responsive throughout the night. He even greeted us when we arrived back at the hotel in the wee hours of the morning.The check-out process was seamless, and we were able to leave our vehicles in the car park while we went shopping.Overall, we had a great stay, and I'd recommend Fiesta Inn Chetumal to my family and friends.

Very Uncomfortable

Me and my family have been coming to the fiesta inn now for the last three years consecutively, and that's a few times each year. I'm really surprised they don't remember me. Frik I believe his name is at the bar, he is always great!The staff normally is great.However this time I felt insulted, judged and watched. When i check-in I was asked not to have another guest in my room. I thought I didn't hear her correctly so I said excuse me. She said nobody can come to the hotel to see me. I felt very insulted because I'm a married man number one and she was implying that I had a prostitute or some other extra curricular activity going on and I did not appreciate that at all because I was traveling alone as a black man and I was coming to Mexico beautiful Mexico to buy my wife jewelry for her birthday which is on Christmas Day. Normally I feel welcome at the fiesta inn. This time I felt like I was being watched making sure nobody was with me every time I walk through the doors I was really comfortable. So this whole experience here through me off. this whole experience here affected my entire stay.

Location and price.The breakfast was good.

The roof was leaking in the lobby. The hotel is tired, the rooms smell of must and aren't cleaned well.The sheets weren't white they were dinghy grey.

there was maintenance happening close to my room..the bar by pool had very limited hours that was open.Also none of the phones worked.None in the room or by pool.
