Pros +
- An excellent experience from start to finish.Upon arrival, I was given a tiny room with no window. Being a photographer/videographer being that thrives with good light, I requested a different option.Director Oswaldo, an expert hotelier through and through offered a suite option, with a living room, mini kitchen, and balcony access from the living room and bedroom! The upgrade came at a cost but it was so worth it.The food and drinks at Malecon 21 are phenomenal as well.I cannot recommend this hotel more. Thank you to the team for the fantastic service!
- The food is wonderful and everything is comfy and clean; great beach club with great music.
- We spent two wonderful nights at Noah Hotel in Mahahual and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the best parts is that the hotel is right on the beach—perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun with your feet in the sand and the ocean breeze all around. It’s the kind of place that makes it easy to unwind. The hotel’s restaurant, Malecón 21, deserves a review of its own. The food was absolutely delicious—so much so that we didn’t even feel the need to explore other places to eat. We were on a mission to try as many things on the menu as possible, and everything we ordered was outstanding. From the fresh seafood to the unique flavors and great presentation, it exceeded our expectations. We are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful beach getaway with amazing food and warm hospitality.
Cons -
- -Hair in shower from previous guest(s). I have a phobia of hair that has left a human's head. -Electric kettle did not work. No big deal, as I used to mini stovetop to heat up water.-Ants in bathroom and kitchen sink area. Nothing a little bug spray can't fix.
- Wifi was very poor, but other than that I highly recommend.
- They have lots of rules, which is fine, but they ask you for a deposit and then cannot return it to the card. They just offered giving it to me in Mexican Pesos after 30 minutes doing the check out, (if you are 30 mins late for check out they will charge you - shouldn’t be the same for taking so long to check out?)Oswaldo and receptionist didn’t provide enough solutions.

The room was very comfortable and spacious, situated on the beach with a sea view
Location Comfortable Clean

Hotel was very nice with a great location and lovely beach for the family. What stood out was the customer service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Especially the Manager Oswaldo who allowed us to switch our dates around at no extra cost while we were there so that we could visit Bacalar when the weather was windy on the coast. Thanks for a lovely stay.
The hotel itselt is probably one of the nicest in the area.
It’s probably one of the best hotels there and it has a lot of potential. First we got lower-class room, which was much smaller and missed some advertised facilities. We had to argue and show the proof from booking to get the room we booked. Then we got bigger room but still had some issues. Shower head was broken and it was difficult to wash long hair, bathroom smelled badly, linens were with stains and the promised minibar was missing. Rooms were in ok condition, but needed maintanace. Also it is important to understanf that most of the places nearby will be closed by 8PM
The hotel is new and well-kept, with no elevator yet and no pool. that would have helped.but overall staff was nice and helpful. The windows were full of mosquitoes, and the cleaner didn't clean them. when we reported that to the staff they offered an upgrade for free.restaurant below was great, good fresh food and nice staff
no breakfast included, and for the price we paid at least offer a basic breakfast.also, 20$ to use their kayak was too muchThe area has very little to offer and can get boring, so some extra free activities would have helped.the beach was dirty with rubbish all over, staff at the beach should clean the sand in the morning and prevent people from throwing rubbish or leaving their litter around. it all ends up in the sea and no care from the locals to preserve the area
Large clean rooms, firm beds. Fridge in room. Welcoming staffrestaurant downstairs serve great food and drinks.Beach is directly across the way with access to beach club.
Beautiful boutique hotel! Very clean and well decorated
We had a beachfront suite, the view and balcony were awesome. Located right on the Malecon with easy access to many restaurants and bars. Wonderful beach club out front with great service to your chair....
Only a sheet was provided on the bed, would have been more comfortable with at least a bed cover
The view and the admin on call
The room wasn’t clean when we check in. The toilet was dirty if not to say other words … the upfront desk admin was very quickly to come and clean it…. There’s a restaurant downs stairs apparently is another administration. At 12 am - 1 am there where making renovations in the kitchen with a hammer we traveled with a baby. We eventually have to go downstairs and tried to talk to the maintenance person…. At the next day on our check out the manager at the hotel told us he was very sorry and that he would make it up with some coupons… that still hasn’t happened
Noah Beach is a really nice place to stay, especially given its spotless beach area with lounge music and hammocks, and a very friendly staff from the Malecon21 restaurant (in site). The room is OK, nothing spectacular, but beds are comfortable. Food is very good at the restaurant.
Bear in mind there is no elevator, so might not be accessible for everyone (it has 3 floors). As there is a lot of trash at Mahaual, the Hotel could do more by eliminating plastics and providing glasses / refillable bottles. Both the Hotel and the restaurant feel overpriced for this little town, with prices similar to what would Gould have at Tulum.
Nice comfortable beds big space great decor professional staff.
Excellent service from all of the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant. Very nice room with a fabulous HUGE deck overlooking the malecon and ocean. The bed was very comfortable, they had English stations on the TV, it was great to have a fridge in the room.
I was ok with it, but, there is no elevator in the hotel so use caution when booking your room if you are elderly or may find climbing stairs difficult for some reason.
Restaurant staff is amazing
Check in and check out was painful, I wish staff was more helpful and provided with more information. Pictures posted on Booking.com make the hotel look different…
Nice rooms and beach club area.
Beach was blocked off by ropes and fences. Seaweed not maintained by staff for its guests.
We really enjoyed the room’s terrace over the Malecon and beach. It was nice to be able to have drinks and meals out there and sleep with the ocean breeze…
Overpriced for the area and for the room which was nothing fancy. The room had a Keurig machine but when we told the front desk there were no capsules they said, no we don’t provide. Since that was the only way to make coffee in the room, we had to go the hotel bar in the morning and pay $10 for two cups of watered down keurig coffee?! Funny they said they didn’t have any capsules. Bad hospitality.
Everything was really great and amazing!
Unfortunatly our room (the only one) was next to two airconditioning motors that were loud. We could hear really them.
Looked amazing and staff were not but they messed up our booking so got there and could not stay as they were booked up. Left us and our 2 kids to find somewhere else. They then told us they wouldn't charge us but they did and a number of calls and complaints and we still have no answer or refund. £661 down the drain. Hopefully our credit card company will help but not great part of our holiday.
Not being able to stay there!
