    Pros +

    • Hotel was beautiful but extremely disfunctional. Good location
    • Amazing, historic building and area. The room was amazing, like something out of an old movie.
    • Location is convenient to many nice restaurants and plazas.

    Cons -

    • There was absolutely no working WIFI in our room and barely any at the entire hotel for our entire 4 day stay. Our TV only worked intermittently. The GFI outlet in the bathroom was broken which is a safety hazard, so the hair dryer didn't work. The bath/shower was a safety nightmare. No elevator. Breakfast was not included, even though Booking.com said it would be.
    • Things were a bit run down. Our shower and sink fixtures leaked and didn't work well
    • As many reviewers have said, the hotel itself is charming, but the staff are terrible. No welcoming attitude or hospitality.

I will not stay there again

The restaurant service was very bad, coffee was cold , it took about 2 hrs to get out breakfast putting us behind schedule,

Locations is great ! Very comfortable bed. The food is really good. Most of the people working there are very nice. Ricardo plays the piano beautifully.

The fact that it's a historical site and that its centrally located.

We rented the Marquesa's room. We were swarmed by mosquitoes all night long despite having all three terrace doors shuttered. My wife woke up with bites all over her arms and our 5 month old baby was bitten all over her neck and face. I had a few myself. We covered up with the blankets as best we could. We also turned up the air conditioner to reduce the mosquito activity. This prevented things from being worse than they were. We survived, but it certainly wasn't expected and kept us from enjoying our stay as much as we might have otherwise.

The hotel is gorgeous. It's actually a spot where tourists take photos from outside. Very nice, helpful staff. Comfortable beds, big bathroom. Location is right in the middle of the city

There are a couple of issues preventing me from giving a perfect score: no air conditioning, there's a fan in the room but when temperatures outside reach 90 degrees it's not enough. Only one power outlet on each side of the bed. You can either connect the lamp or your phone. In these times it's inconvenient.

Breakfast was not included, but available as a separate charge. You have to pay for any meals individually - they cannot be charged to your room. The breakfast menu offered a good selection at reasonable prices, and the portion sizes were ample. Breakfasts were enhanced by live piano music starting at 9 AM.

Coffee service and refills were sometimes slow.

Beautiful historical building. We enjoyed the piano music in the morning. Walkable, friendly staff, safe area.spacious bedroom with comfortable bed,

room size was great, above my expectations, the restroom is not the very modern approach, which fits into the hotel concept. Its close to the city center, near everywhere, and easy to find a spot for lunch around

Casa de la Marquesa is a beautiful colonial Mansion in the heart of Queretaro downtown. The rooms are elegantly appointed with a very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with all amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall it is an excellent value for money and a wonderful experience of Colonial Mexico.

Very spacious room and bathroom. Impeccable cleanliness. Furnishing victorian style very nice and elegant.

No running water in the room. Had to call receptionist to get it going. No hot water next morning. Had to leave without a shower. No TV service. Had to call receptionist twice for someone to finally show up at our door to fix it one hour later.Restaurant smelled intensely of fresh paint. Had to leave to have breakfast somewhere else.

The hotel is in a very good location. The room was very quiet for the location.

Communication with the staff wasn't great. I found it uncomfortable to be asked each time we arrived to the hotel of we were there to eat. The entrance to the restaurants is the same as the entrance to the hotel and it takes about 3 people to ask you why you are there before you can go in.

Second morning, no hot water. bed extremely hard staff nice but stand offish Housekeepers extremely nice and wonderful.

Bed extremely hard. Staff nice but stand offish Definitely does not have the vibe of the last time. I stayed there many years ago. Overpriced Is overprised

    It was historic and charming

It didn’t have electricity. They moved us down the street to a run down dirty hotel.

It's a very beautiful building and very historic. When you're there, You feel like you're stepping back in time. In terms of the property there's not much like it in north America.

The service is deplorable. I had friends staying in the hotel as well as myself and asked the staff to deliver a gift baaket and a bottle of champagne. They misplaced the champagne and brought a bottle of cheap sparkling wine. Eventually it was found and delivered....with wine glasses despite the request for champagne flutes. When I checked in to the honeymoon suite with my partner for my birthday, they overcharged us by 2000 pesos only to tell us an hour later that they mistakenly charged the room to another credit card. Then when we arrived in the room, the outside hot tub was filled with dirt and leaves. They hadn't checked the room before our arrival. I just think when you're paying close for 400 USD a night for a room it should be ready. On top of everything else they told us they were holding an event with a live band that night which would go until 3 am. No forewarning. The whole thing just sucked for the price you pay for the rooms.

The coffee and juice were good, also the ambiance.

The service in the restaurant was slow. The food arrived late and only lukewarm. Only one waiter was doing his best.

This is a beautiful colonial style hotel, nicely decorated with careful detail. Our room was very spacious, so was the bathroom. The breakfast, included with our stay, was delicious. The added bonus was a pianist who serenaded everyone while having breakfast. I recommend this place.

I didn’t find anything wrong with this hotel.

the architecture of this historic home.

90s disco music during breakfast did not match the setting.

The room we paid for was not available for us. we received no satisfaction until the GM got involved. the room we received was an up charge and the bed was so uncomfortable we left after one night I stead of our scheduled 3 days. The staff was helpful and tried to accommodate us but in the end nothing received was close to what we expected and paid for

The property was physically beautiful, everything else fell well short of expectations
