The dining experience was superior, whether breakfast, rooftop terrace appetizers, or dinner. It was obvious that the chef was excellent.Room 104 was conveniently located and quiet.

We were unprepared for the cold temperature in the breakfast area each morning, but realize that it is the way the historic structure is built.The shower area in room 104 needs repair: new tiles and repainting.

Location and restaurant

No windows in the room. Super expensive. Smelled muggy in then room due to lack of windows. There was a bath in the middle of the room but too small to enjoy a bath in.

Breakfast was good! Lovely rooftop bar and the staff was very helpful with transportion to and from the airport and local venues.

This is my favorite place in San Miguel. It’s worth every penny. When we arrive, they remember us and treat us like family. The restaurant has delicious food and always makes room for us. The included breakfast is incredible!

That I can’t stay longer :)

Beautiful property, with excellent restaurant downstairs, and an amazing rooftop bar and restaurant with amazing views. Room design is very tasteful, good ammenities too. Walking distance to main square and shopping area.

The pool

The receptionist at the check in had no idea what it means to be in hospitality industry. They have their rates in USD, but their Amex machine only let you pay in Mexican pesos with an Abusive exchange rate, so I ended up paying way much more than the rate is on booking.

Everything was fantastic about this hotel except they have the worst wifi I've seen in a long time. They have at least 15 networks in sight but they are all weak. Easy and inexpensive fix, then it's 5 star all the way. They moved us to the sweet pool room at least but still crappy wifi.

Loved staying at Casa Arca. Everything from location, the scrumptious breakfasts, to the super friendly, professional, and helpful staff!! Look forward to coming back.

The rooms on the first floor only have a window that opens up to an interior courtyard. Would have enjoyed a view to the exterior. Next time, will probably stay on the second floor.

There was a confusion about payment system. The booking.com information didn’t mention about one night deposit will be charged beforehand. We noticed a charge about a month before arrival but they used the name of other company. So we thought it was a fraudulent charge. It turned out that the name of the hotel used to charge us was their main company name. They didn’t use the name Lotel Casa Arca. They need to inform your company that the deposit for one night will be charged beforehand using the different name.

Great location and friendly staff! Food was great in the restaurant too!

The bathroom shower was strong but it leaked terribly on the floor and the shower was very slick. The shampoo container fell in the shower from the shelf and they required me to pay for it -$45!!! It was just the plastic dispenser that broke.

The rooms are beautiful and very well equipped even featuring a fireplace to take the chill off San Miguel evening. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff

The breakfast was outstanding—hearty, warm, and full of variety, with a selection of fruits, cereals, and juices to complement the meal. You can enjoy everything from an Americano to a Cappuccino with your coffee. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had a balcony with a view of the street in front of the building. They also offered a mezcal tasting and a complimentary cocktail for each of us. Overall, it was an incredible stay.

The location was perfect only steps away from the plaza! The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious! The attention to detail exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be back!
