    Cons -

    • Very difficult/nearly impossible auto access. Street is blocked to car traffic and there is nowhere to park. Price is significantly higher that neighboring hotels.
    • Poor value, could not live up to their stars or cost. The front desk was horrible. They didn't speak any English and didn't care. They were below zero help trying to plan things. The front desk and their alack of caring made it a very poor experienc
    • I booked two junior suites and the door lock on one of them did not lock at all. The worst part was the female hotel desk manager who told us “it’s okay okay that the doors don’t lock”. I had to demonstrate to the staff how easy it is to hop over the balcony wall and walk into the unlocked doors! She finally offered us a room where the doors locked but it wasn’t a junior suite…yet she refused to adjust the price of the room to the regular room rate! Her photo with the display of room descriptions and rates are included in this review. Furthermore, we had to explain to to repeatedly that my female friend staying in the room is a single person so safety is more important the a balcony so we will take the regular safe room just please don’t charge us for a junior suite rate. We had fluent Spanish speakers with us there so there was no language barrier! She refused to adjust the charge. And my friend is still working with her credit card company to make the adjustment after 5 weeks! Also do not be fooled by the bed descriptions of the junior suites. They are not queen beds. They are between a twin and a full.

Excellent location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff

Church bells will wake you up at 6:00 every morning

The property was gorgeous. The staff was wonderful, especially Ms. Adriana, she was very helpful and attentive. The location of the hotel was perfect and close to everything we wanted to do.

    Everything was great.

Central location, right next to the Jardin

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Rooms are spacious but beds were not comfy. There’s also no mini fridge in the room. No bottle opener. Staff kept interrupting in the afternoon by knocking on the door for no reason. The door kept flapping back and forth with the wind despite being the closed.

    10AdrianaPosted on: 1-3-2025

The location cannot be more perfect. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are all facing a terrace that overlooks the main church. The rooms are great, perfectly clean, spacious (each one with their sofas), bathroom perfect.

    Location, plus installations.

Pool was neglected and water was not heated.

    6GabrielaPosted on: 9-2-2024

This was the third time staying at this hotel on the past 5 years and things have changed drastically and not for the better. They no longer offer breakfast, rooms are outdated and pool was dirty. Also the driver that took my car to park stole my sunglasses. I will not be staying here again!

Location close to the main square. Large room, comfortable bed, large bathroom.

Not hot water for morning shower, we showered in cold water, the heater did not work, the mornings were very cold. After four days we could not figure out how to work the TV, no instructions. No coffee table.

    Location and cleaning

It doesn’t have heat and SMA was very cold. It doesn’t have a restaurant or room service and they charge for the parking lot besides the full rate

The place was very nice and comfortable. Staff was professional and corteous. I enjoyed the bed and the room had lots of extra space. I would definitely recommend this place.

The bathroom did not have air conditioner. It felt very hot inside to the point that it has hard to breath and I ended up taking a cold shower to feel better. It is nice to have lots of natural light come through the celing but there is definitely a need for air conditioner in there.

    8ElizabethPosted on: 4-22-2022

    The location and customer service

The pool was dirty, exposed wires from a light

    9NoraPosted on: 10-19-2021

Dislikes: The bathroom shower head didn't connect to the water feed properly which meant that water sprayed up into the ceiling and would drip back down. There was a hole in the floorboard right in front of the shower (I'm assuming from water damage). The Wi-Fi connection wasn't great.

Likes: The bed was amazingly comfortable, the room had air conditioning and was very clean plus there were new water bottles provided every day. The hotel bar used fresh lime juice (instead of sweet&sour mix) and the location is incredible.
