    Pros +

    • Staff is fantastic. They take the time to ensure you enjoy your stay. We ended up having a tour of the historic hotel with all of the antique murals, architecture and furniture. View from the rooftop bar is great. Well located to the center of town.
    • Staff is incredible. There is so much character to the place it's perfect.
    • This small luxury hotel feels like an elegant home away from home. From the first time I saw Casa No Name I loved it. The ambience and the food are excellent. From the delicious breakfast on the patio to snacks on the rooftop bar. I loved the tuna tartare tostadas and wish I could have one right now. I thinks it’s my favorite hotel in which I have ever stayed.

    Cons -

    • Rooms are created from the historic bedrooms of this historic structure. They are well done, clean and in good taste but smaller than one might find in a typical US hotel. Bathrooms are quite nice. Was not an issue for us and there are larger rooms.
    • A few people have said it but the Disco is a horrible distraction. Disco doesn't close until 4 am so if your a light sleeper be aware. Disco is closed Sunday through Wednesday so book on these days .
    • No room service. I would have loved breakfast in my room.

The layout of the hotel is very quaint. It felt like home away from home. The food was great. The bar upstairs offers amazing cocktails. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit having a drink before we would venture out. The hotel was in walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go in town.

I prefer to pay all in the end, as opposed to having to sign for any drink I would get at the bar, or for breakfast. But I guess this is their policy, which is fine. It was just a bit of a disturbance to have to sign as I would be on my way out each time.

A timeless boutique hotel where beauty, history, and enchantment blend seamlessly with refined elegance and impeccable taste. Comfort and quality take center stage with in this unrivaled location, where mornings begin with a gourmet breakfast prepared by a masterful chef and served in a garden of breathtaking charm.

Enjoyed our stay there very much.

My only criticism is two bottles of water should be left in the room Complimentary every day & I should not have to pay for coffee in the room. If the hotel had to charge a little more to the price, okay. I felt this was CHEAP and should have been included in this lovely hotel!!!

    Good staff service. Beautiful property

Did not replace water bottle and coffee at room

Beautiful hotel. My friend and I stayed at the Lofts location which is a little further from the main hotel. The space is gorgeous, but I wish we could have checked in directly at that location instead of having to go to the main one first. The staff was very friendly and the room was lovely.

Hotel staff were the best, in all regards. Location of hotel was perfect. Hotel rooms, lobby, eating area and rooftop bar were excellent.

Spa/pool tub in odd area, on way to bar/rooftop terrace > so we didn't use. Bathroom shower water pressure was VERY low, so no good shower had (not sure if other rooms had same issue). Beds were nice but bit too hard for my liking.

Dedicated personnel that made each detail stand out, from the flower arrangements to the perfectly the heated pool upstairs!

The neighbors let a dog out in the early morning and their barking awaken the guests.

Great, ancient and well maintained building Good linenRoof topService The lofts are great too and the main property has lovely rooms

They charge you for everything. For a hotel in this price class I expect every day to receive new coffee and lotion and a biscuit etc but it had to be asked for and paid. The communication was a bit cumbersome and they wanted us to pay up front for the rooms (even if over booking and the cc was secured) The breakfast is very meagre- but delicious! In December it’s cold and you can only eat in the patio Also the linen smells a lot like chlorine and takes away the luxury feeling.

The service and ambiance of Casa No Name is exceptional! This is our second year staying in the same Suite and we loved it all over again. We brought more friends to stay this year again too and they loved the whole experience. The complimentary breakfast is tasty & light while the omelette is superb as is the charcuterie plate we enjoyed at the private rooftop bar accompanied by artisan mezcals!A morning cold plunge in the dip pool started each day with a buzz & kept us feeling lively and energized! The staff are always welcoming and helpful and the rooms are very comfortable with everything you need. We look forward to coming back again!

There’s no fridge in the rooms. But the staff are more than willing to bring ice buckets to keep drinks cold.

    Location and super clean

Beds were a little too firm

    Very tasteful surroundings

BreakfastI couldn’t get a slice of bread for breakfast, although breakfast was included in our rate. You simply get a slim slice of banana or koumkat cake. Full stop! Also last minute rates were nearly half of what we paid for!!! So watch out for late deals!

Excellent service from the hotel personnel (Daniela, Lorena, Ricardo). The inconvenience for our stay was that we traveled with a group of friends for a destination wedding. We planned to stay together and placed our reservation on the same Hotel No Name. At the arrival we received as "surprise" that our room is in other location - a loft in a different street ( more than 5 minutes walking) without concierge, breakfast, nor reception services. We suggest that the administration SHOULD inform - VERY CLEALY- about his rooms facilities. The lofs are very comfortable but NOT for our booking purposes.Otherwise the original NO NAME hote is unique, very beautiful, kind and with a lots of nice details.

Location of the Loft rooms, is an apartment with small stairs, Should be good for the ones who preferred a room like an AIRB&B., with small stove and micro. The check-in, reception, breakfast and all other facilities are in a different location. The original No NAME rooms are in a different street,

Lofts at Casa No Name were amazing in their location and decor style. All staff were very helpful and courteous. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Never stayed and they still took my money

I had to cancel my stay at this hotel because we were being relocated away from the main location. This was not convenient to what we were planning for our trip and decided to cancel the hotel. They still took my money even though I had canceled the reservation. This is unacceptable on their part as I never stepped foot on the hotel and they still took my money. Be careful when booking this hotel because they will still take your money your money even if your plans change. They will not help you in any way.

Location was great, walking distance to main square, markets and parroquia of San Miguel. The hotel was beautiful decorated and has rooftop bar with cool vibe. We loved the fact that bathroom was spacious , however to have hot water in the shower wasn’t that fast and easy. The staff was friendly , professional and receptive to our feedback. We had breakfast there and food was fesh and tasty, everything handmade , the banana bread delicious

The pillows were not that comfortable, for a luxury hotel boutique, I believe would be to have a menu of different type of pillows, not sure if the sheets linens were 100% cotton, it didn’t feel fresh to the skin touch. Our room was quite noisy .

Absolutely beautiful boutique luxury hotel . The room was clean , beautiful & spacious. The hotel decoration was exquisite . Great location . They helped me with the transportation from Mexico city to San miguel and return .

The service was very regular . No up to standards. I asked If I could have a simple breakfast before leaving at 8am to Mexico city . The front desk confirmed I would have coffee , home made bread and cheese. NO one from the hotel showed up. I also had several problems with my account . 2 bad billings to my credit card .

It is a beautiful historic building very close to the center of the historic center. Our room was quite spacious and relatively private. The staff was attentive and friendly.

This is nitpicking- but there was an air conditioner unit on our patio that belonged to another room - and unfortunately they used it a lot. We like to have the doors open at night - so it was a bit noisy from that.
