Pros +
- Th staff and location
- The room was spacious and comfortable. Full service hotel with restaurants on 2 levels and a rooftop bar with spectacular San Miguel de Allende sunset view. Breakfast on the roof was lovely -- delicious fruit, coffee, bread and an assortment of hot entrees. The service was exceptional. Cesar at the front desk arranged a tour of Guanajuato and was always available to answer questions about the city. Great stay in the center of a very walkable, beautiful city.
- The staff is so welcoming, they go above and beyond. The hotel is genteel and right in the center of Centro. My sister and I shared a 2 bedroom suite.
Cons -
- A bit noisy from the music in the rooftop but it goes off around 1030 pm, totally fine
- It is noisy but it goes with being in this lively town
- There needs to be front desk reception people that speak English for three days nobody spoke English, so it’s very difficult to have our questions answered in our needs met. Finally, there was a person who could speak English, and she was very friendly.

breakfast was delicious especially the avocado toast. Outstanding! Decor was lovely and very unique.

Needed English speaking staff. One person at the reaction desk for 2 days did not speak English( male). Very frustrating!!
Very tidy, well-appointed boutique hotel in the center of town.Creatively designed and artfully decorated, the hotel is delightful. The rooms are all located away from the street, so they are quiet. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Everything was exceptional.
Charming hotel in an excellent location.
Our driver got a ticket dropping us at the hotel bc the staff wasn’t enough to help us quickly.
Excellent location, extremely friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, beautifully designed with a colonial yet contemporary feel.
It was all wonderful.
I love the place, the rooms are big and clean the staff are nice and helpful. No problem there at all very much recommended as a place of destination.
It is not related to Casa 63, but to coming to San Miguel in Dec, a warning for people if you don’t mind fireworks for at least 2 nights since the lighting of the tree like Monday Dec 8th fireworks since 5am to 7am and now it is 7:03 and one firework went on, I can understand the church bells, this is part of the charm which is only for few minutes but fireworks for a couple of hours on Monday morning is too much especially for families with kids, you guys are going to loose tourism in Dec if it keeps on going on. I will never come back in Dec.
Location, quality, view of church, staff, breakfast ?
Beautiful hotel, amazing location, friendly staff. Cannot recommend it enough! Exceeded expectations! We didn't try the breakfast that's included, but the café downstairs is pretty good.
Valet takes like 25 mins to get your car.
Location and cleanliness
The AC will make loud popping noises sporadically
Location, it’s perfect, one block of the main square
Rooms are small, and modest, and windowless! I hated it, to be fair the hotel offered me another room with a window into a corridor but it smelled with cleaning detergent so bad that I couldn’t even consider it. Bathroom was very small, I could barely open the door to the bathroom. Not worth the money we paid!
The location was very close to everything, within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was large and very good. We especially liked the avocado toast. The bathtub and shower were both very big. The breakfast restaurant had great views. The bed was large and comfortable.
It would have been helpful to have a small table and 2 chairs for writing, etc but we made due with the one large chair and small coffee table.
It was in the center of everything. Very easy to walk every where and the staff gave exceptional services. Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious with the best service!
Exellent customer service from everyone who works at the hotel - front desk, room cleaners and restaurant servers. The location is centrally located.
Free breakfast could be improved.
Great location. Very big room with comfortable beds.
Housekeeping was a little sloppy.
Characterful and friendly boutique hotel in the very centre of the old city. Very helpful staff
Excellent breakfast with great service - a beautiful terrace to boot. Superior room was a nice size with a great bathroom. Lots of TV options - Netflix and Prime
Our room was facing the road and unfortunately there was a great deal of noise that interupted our sleep. Definitely ask for a room at the back of the hotel
