Cititel Express Penang Hotel

Ok

Friends

Cleanliness. Bed comfort.

No Swimming pool.

Toilet was clean, staff was very friendly, good location.

Room was much smaller than expected. Very little space to sit around.

We had a wonderful stay at Cititel. The hotel location is near most attractions ie The Top etc. There are eateries and shopping malls around the hotel. Many thanks, and I appreciate the gesture of goodwill in celebration of my daughter's birthday. The staff are all friendly and helpful, even helping me book a transport for our early morning flight.

The ants on the table. However, the manager and staff were very prompt and took immediate action to exterminate. The bathroom ponding issue, water takes some time to drain off. Not enough chairs for 4 pax room. Only 1 chair is provided. It would be good to have at least 2 chairs.

Value for money. Conveniently located in the middle of town

bed is squeaky. Maintenance may need to tighten some bolts or spring

Clean and neat room. Staffs are friendly to answer questions.

The air cond somehow restricted adjustment, but if you prefer cold room, that's awesome.

I like the brightly lit fluorescent light at parking level. Bright & give a sense of safety and security feel. Ample parking spaces.I couldn't find similar hotels in Penang at 3 star rating with a similar indoor, brightly lit parking, paid breakfast at a nominal value in St Giles, superb location, clean, value for money. The list just goes on & on.By the way, I am Simon Leong from KL. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip in mid December 2025.

So far nothing can I think of

The location was very close to most of Georgetown's best cocktail bars, and also walking distance to the big malls. The bathroom is decently sized with a large shower, and the houskeeping are pretty fast when we request things like towels.

The room was on the small side, and would not fit a big luggage. The walls/doors are also pretty thin, so if there's a big group of people, it can get noisy (you can hear your neighbour through the wall). The extra security lock on our door was stuck a few times.

No thing

Too small even that I tool family room which is the biggest as what the staff said ! Bad smell in room and the most bad area الخليجيين اهربووا I booked for 4 days I stayed 2 hours only and checked out with no refund!!

Very clean and comfortable

Room a bit small

Convenient location , Walking distance to all the famous food of Penang

Parking in a shared facilities with St Giles Hotel . Parking access & exit rather narrow. Room without 1- iron & iron board2- bottled water - need to fill up water in the glass jar provided from lift lobby Room rather small - room space tight if guest have big suitcaseWork desk is a narrow wall mounted shelf type - not ergonomics & conducive if guest need to do homework on computer

The room is very clean, tidy and comfortable.Location are near to Chowrasta market, Komtar, the famous cendol, Hutton Lane Roti Bakar and others.

Staff was friendly, especially Megha at the St. Giles Coffee House for breakfast. Likewise for housekeeping and laundry staff. Everything in the room works perfectly. Automated car park entry / exit was a breeze.

Maybe the size of the room is quite small and needs better soundproofing. Next door guests' extracurricular activities can be heard quite clearly.

Passable

They said they hold the payment from booking.com even though in the booking.commode it said they charge at once . The payment process was confusing

Nice, clean, convenient, courteous staff

No dinking water in the room

We ate out

Room to room poor soundproofing Bed making quite a bit of sound when we turn our body.

Near to 1st Avenue Mall convenient go around

Room so small quite squeezy and toilet floor quite dirty

Location is great, within walking distance to malls and local food areas

Room is extremely small with single walking space. First room checked in had air conditioning problem and they changed to another room which had a broken shower. Poor room maintenance.

A lot of parking space and strategic location

The room size slightly small.

Call back check after check in. Regarding any issue in the room.Clear explaination during check in about housekeeping schedule.
