Lovely personal service by Receptionists. Comfortable well designed room. Everything worked well, such as WiFi, lighting.

Breakfast ok but the ordering system was not open to personal preferences on items.

This is a very cute property with heritage features and beautiful luxurious rooms. The staff are a delight and made everyday perfect.

If I could choose what I liked most, I'd say the attention to detail was impressive. Every detail of the decor, the room layout, and the attentive staff.Furthermore, the breakfast has a good variety of options, and the rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable.

The room was very nicely done like 5-star hotel. Very new, clean and comfortable.

Bad air from kitchen was all over the swimming pool. The eating area for pet owners was rather hot and stuffy. So we ended up ate in our room.

An absolute gem! We have tried the popular resorts in Penang but this gorgeous boutique hotel is a far superior experience. Wonderful staff that always greeted us with genuine warmth and care. An immaculate and well cared for property with a beautiful courtyard. Just an all around superb experience. We will be back!

It’s a dog friendly hotel so you might hear a few barks and yaps here and there. It wasn’t too bothersome during our stay though.

If I could I would have rated this place more than 10! Staff is super friendly and helpful and the attention paid to the details is worth staying.We had delicious breakfast and every night they gave us goodnight cookies in a small jar. The room was clean as well as the pool.I would definitely recommend it!

The mattress was comfy but a little too soft for my liking.

Really like this hotel. The room is comfortable, the breakfast tastes great which is included in the room fee, and it has a swimming pool to relieve the daytime’s stress!

The location is somehow a little bit far from the downtown George City, but still very convenient!

Lack of charging facilities.No USB ports or sockets for typical 2 pin plugs for Apple chargers Have to ask for adapter and staff not familiar of what’s needed. Normal needs would be at least 3 ports and one adapter is not enough. Security is lax as sometimes no one is at reception for a long time and you can take your own room key behind desk.

Breakfast was included and was delicious and generous amounts of food.They allowed me to check in VERY early without additional fees and were so friendly, caring, and helpful immediately on check in. Staff was wonderful. Hotel was very clean, rooms very comfortable. Turn down service every night. Pool is lovely. Very unique, older architecture/style, but still with modern feel. They provide potable water every day in your room.

If I HAD to nit-pick... When they checked me in I swear the person said the small complementary snacks in the room (tiny bag of nuts and two small cookies kinda thing) were refreshed daily... That was not the case. It was actually ever other day complementary, but if you wanted daily you could pay. I had to look that info up on the internal hotel amenities info website, from the QR code available in my room. Thought that was maybe a little overly frugal of them, and again, pretty sure it was communicated to me erroneously on check in so set the expectation off. Again, very small thing so overall this place was great.The hotel was also a bit further from the main downtown than I originally thought, but still walkable, so also not a huge inconvenience in the end.

Very elegant and modern rooms with a luxury feeling. Attention to details and added amenities were above our expectations. Nicely appointed bathrooms and a daybed/sofa was very practical. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Location fantastic. Besides my comment on the menu, breakfast dishes were tasty and plentiful.

Tiny details here and there which didn't influence our stay actually. For example, lack of space to put toiletries somewhere in the bathroom. No iron/ironing board in the room (available upon request), no way of contacting front desk besides walking there. Hotel also asks guest to pre-select breakfast item a night before, including approximate time of having the breakfast. For us this was little limiting and even if not biding, one feels obligated to show up as per indicated time. Also menu of breakfast items tries to cater to everyone (French item, American item, Mexican item and one changing Asian item)

Once we walked through the doors with the lemon scent before out to the pool area, we knew we would pick a good place. The staff here are amazing and very accommodating! The breakfast was really good and I always looked forward to the omelette and toast combo in the morning with hash browns and white coffee. The location is really good and it wasn't difficult finding places to eat for dinner as well as taking Grab to go to places. I already miss this place and it will be my go to hotel for future stays in Penang!
