Location and how the hotel is decorated.

My fault, I should have booked a room with a window. I felt a bit claustrophobic,.

Its vibes of the old majestic Chinese luxurious abode.. its location to Penang famous eateries, all are walking distance from this hotel.

The swimming pool area.. too close to the dining area..

Unique antique style. The big fan in the room. Convenient location.

Electric outlet was difficult to charge with an adaptor. I had to place one of the trash bin under the adaptor so it wouldn’t fall off. It would have been nice to have an extension cord or a USB provided on the desk.

The pool is not a swim pool

Beautiful hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very glad that we stayed here. Large, confortable and clean room. Great to have a roof terrace.

Swimming pool is more of a wading pool, a bit too small to be called a proper pool.

Strong water. Staff are friendly.

Pipe sounds due to pressure next room turns their water on. The water when taking a shower flowing outside towards the toilet. They need to add barriers.

Very elegant hotel with a big beautiful rooftop. With good restaurant service too. Quiet location but still very close to everything u want to explore.

Great location and truly heritage property

The pool was a wading pool. The tv had 2 channels. But more than everything the room was dark and dingy. The windows opened into the opposite rooms a few feet apart leaving no privacy

really affordable room in a quiet location that was not too far from the main city area. Varitey of food options near by and free bus service close by with good city access.

The location was perfect. Easy to walk to many locations in Georgetown.

My room was super small.

Amazing building, nice rooftop, service

Had a small issue with laundry service there but the manager helped sort it out.

The receptionist was very polite and always helpful for us. Every corner of the hotel smells good. Unique room and very nice vibe. Have a nice touch of creaking wood floor sounds just like kampung. Parking also very convenient.

For those who don’t like the creaking sounds might don’t like the room. Also the hot water for showers sometimes went cold then back to hot, it wasn’t consistent.

All the staff are very nice and accommodating. They make sure you're having a great time. The hotel is near restaurants and within walking distance of some spots. Hot showers are working well. I like the hotel's rooftop, you can just chill there after after long day of touring.

Some sockets don't work. And you can hear the door from the other rooms when they're opening or closing it.

Room was nice and large.

Breakfast was just okay with limited options.

We had a delightful stay at Museum Hotel. Ideally located in a quiet street but walking distance from the old town's attractions, close to nice little cafes and breakfast spots.The hotel is gorgeous, tastefully decorated and kept its ancient charm. The staff was very nice and helpful. There was a big downpour one night and unfortunately it leaked through our ceiling (which can happen in old buildings). We contacted the reception who immediately came to inspect and offered to move us in a different room.

The hotel is decorated with colonial era pieces adding to the charm. It is easily walkable all over George Town --even to the ferry. The air conditioning and awesom shower were very welcome after a busy and hot day.

It was a bit challenging finding places to charge my electronics. But I managed to get it done.

The pool was very tiny and shallow. More like a large bath. They require 100 ringgit cash deposit on check in.

Feels like you are staying at a palace. The old world architecture and decor is beautiful, you would want to click pictures at every corner.Rooms were spacious and very aesthetically decorated.
