ZOOM HOTEL

Good location and staff

Could hear normal conversation from adjacent rooms

Clean and good view

need to put a board for people using wheelchairs to be able to get up to the entrance. Just advice

THe room itself was actually quite good for the price .. wi fi bed comfortable and warm floor in bathroom

No real facilities for food except the machine. Also as some one next door had smoked they fumigated the area with camphor which came into my room awful.. But they let the window open , installed a clean air cleaner and soon everything was much better.. The response to my concern was immediate !! If looking for a great value hotel downtown or going to Alter Domus ZOOM was OK excellent value

It was that comfortable, that when I went for a quick nap at 11am, I didn’t wake up til 9pm! I was only here for one night so when I arrived to drop off my luggage, they said my room was ready so I thought, perfect, I’ll juice the phone and have a quick nap! But beware - the bed is very comfortable!! The bathroom is great, the room is great with a great big desk, plenty of space for me, friendly staff, it’s fantastic!

It's in a very convenient location with easy access to shops. The room was clean.

The wifi can be a bit unstable at times

Good location, staff friendly. Clean

Non

Breakfast was not included. Very easy to find food around the area (within walking distance)

The rooms were not so soundproof.

Clean environment. Near eateries. Comfortable beds.

Great location. Good food nearby our hotel.

Soundproof. We can clearly heard the people talking from next door.

Location was great, hotel was clean and housekeeping really cool. Water pressure and air conditioning were great too.

Wifi connection. It was really really bad for my room - either really slow or not even connecting. Was wondering could it be room was situated at back corner. Told the reception, check was done but nothing could be done. Solution offered was to top up so that I can move out of that room - bcos that was the only floor and room with that particular configuration!! So they wanted me to pay extra so that I can use the wifi that was stated usable in booking?!Btw, this room type is only available on the 2nd floor and there's no chair inside the room. So if you are buying food back, be ready to eat standing up or sitting on bed/floor.

Good clean room, with fridge and A/C working fine. Great location, near enough from city centre. Easy to get a Grab from there. Quiet area, with restaurants ans mini markts near.

Nothing to note, really.

Room size ok for a single traveler. Comfortable bed n strong Aircon.

No hangers for clothes

I liked how the room was tidy, small but clean and has roughly all necessary facilities. The hotel is quiet and is near supermarkets and downtown.

Due to a miscommunication on their page, I was planning to pay for my stay in cash (as I've chosen the 'pay at the property' option by cash and put my credit card as a guarantee of the booking), the hotel went ahead and deducted the amount from my credit card without my consent, which caused me some inconvenience. When complaining, they just said they pre-authorize credit card (which is not mentionned on Booking app - which makes it their fault) and did absolutely nothing to compensate me or satisfy my claim. I'm totally unhappy with that.

Good location.

Aircon abit noisy. Could be more generous on coffee satchet as I didn't ask for daily housekeeping

Reasonable distance to eateries. Hotel location easy to locate from afar! Friendly staff.

Modern hotel, good locale, friendly staff.

1. Air-conditioning blowing directly onto bed; minimal effect using the swing controls.2. Appears to have lot of drawers, storage space...but they all are boardings that cover up empty spaces. Why?

The location was 10 minutes walk away from the Penang Street ArtThe hotel was newly built and very cozy and comfortable Staff was really nice and helpfulWiFi was also very good

Newly built, cleanliness & location

Room no sound proofing

It’s very clean. The room, the bedsheet and everything.

The location is lightly far from the tourist area.

It was very new and clean and the staff were friendly.

I mostly wanted to visit Georgetown and it feels a little far removed, but it really is just a short walk or a Grab ride to the sights. I could hear some music coming from another venue until late in the night, but I think most venues in the area would have that problem.
