Air conditioning in the room was very noisy

Spacious room, very comfortable beds, wonderfully convenient location!

The decor and the staff attention was truly exceptional.

Ordering at the restaurant was confusing. Orders were not what they purported to be. And while the food was tasty it did not correspond to the order. And restaurant staff did not respond appropriately.

The location is great. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. Staff are very helpful.

The common hall was very noisy on the first night when guests came back late at night. Most are Chinese travelers from the mainland. Wish they knew the hotel quiet rule at night time. Luckily, the room got changed on the other side, which was quieter for the other 2 nights.

The location was excellent. The staff were all really warm and friendly and gave us excellent advice on where to go and the restaurants they recommended were all great too.The room was cozy and beautifully decorated. It was a great choice for us. We were very pleased and would recommend it.

My only small annoyance was I would have liked a bigger surface in the bathroom for my toothbrush and cosmetics. Other than that no complaints.

Nini and Linda, the warm and welcoming staff, went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, offering helpful 'local knowledge' tips and exceptional service throughout our stay.This isn't a soulless, western-style hotel. It was a superb blend of tradition, heritage and modern comfort. Our room was like stepping back in time, transporting us to an historic era of elegance and grace.

The staff was wonderful , food in the restaurant great and it being a step back from the main noisy part of town.

No phone in the room, but then again felt like I had stepped back and could just relax.

Really beautiful place with real antique furniture. the room was clean. The hotel itself was an attraction. We also appreciated that they had a room on the ground floor with the two beds, which was difficult to find.

Lovely little historical hotel on a beautiful street that is quiet but close enough to walk almost everywhere. The room was super clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

When I arrived my room looked completely different than what I booked - downstairs and kind of dark. When I asked, the very kind receptionist explained that the room in the pictures was undergoing maintenance but offered to change to another room upstairs, which I gladly did. I was very happy with my room in the end but think it would be good to show the different types of rooms on Booking and let people choose the kind of room they want, especially when they are so different.

This hotel was a gem! The location is perfect, with all the main attractions and great restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself is clean and has a charming traditional style. It’s also quiet, making it a relaxing place to stay. The beds were comfortable, and the staff was warm and welcoming. A nice touch was the weekend tea time, where they offered free tea and sweets. It made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This was a quaint, well decorated boutique hotel in Georgetown. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay there. The room and property were gorgeous and in a great location. It is close to shops, restauraunts, and within walking distance to main attractions. The price is very reasonable compared to other heritage hotels in the area.

There are no large complaints. Sometimes there was a strong sewage smell in the main courtyard, but it was not there all day. It would have been nice to have breakfast included in the price.

Excellent staff. Well appointed room w/ fridge, kettle, filtered water in refillable glass bottles. Wall of windows for wonderful natural light but not direct burning sun. Ground floor courtyard location.

Absolutely best location in Georgetown. Hotel so lovely, quiet, staff really nice. Restaurants amazing, staff booked many as chinese new year time. Really recommend!!

Nothing short of perfect. The room, shower, lighting, daybed, hot water for the bathroom, and staff service all helped exceed my expectations. Cafe downstairs was delicious across breakfast and lunch, and extremely convenient when I was short on time. Excellent location in Georgetown and very quiet.

A minor issue was one of the standing lamps did not work - the chord seemed to have broken off in the outlet. But otherwise perfectly fine and this is a very minor issue that did not affect my satisfaction.

Beautiful, small heritage hotel in the middle of old Town. Rooms are very large and comfortable. It has lovely caffe on sight

The hotel was designed with cultural sensitivity, respectful of heritage & history, some parts to a museum like quality. Quaint, full of charm & character. Staff were friendly & hospitable. I felt ready to plan another stay there.

I love the quaint charm of these restored old buildings, a true recreation of the grand Peranakan homes. The bedding, bathrooms were clean. However some of the older elements (rugs, floor boards) felt like it could be freshened up a little, more ventilation for the rooms, this being in a tropical climate where spaces could feel musty.

Loved everything about Muntri Mews !. We booked two rooms for a family of 5 - Terrace Family Suite and a standard room. Both were beautifully designed and had lots of room to accommodate 4 people in each. It is located in walking distance from all the sights in George Town. The staff at the reception are super helpful and even arrange a car for our onward travel to Thailand by road. Breakfast is excellent!

Small boutique hotel in a quiet part of old George Town. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Guna and Ninie for their help with a special request for packaging a picture. Morning breakfast staff were great and the small outdoor patio made for a pleasant place to have breakfast.Located in a quiet neighborhood within a 15 minute walk to all the old George Town sights and places of interest. Muntri Mews provides good value for the money.
