Was good. However same menu. Liked room service house keeper ACEH maybe wrong spelling but he was very nice!

Location, Cleanliness and great ambiance

I liked the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendly and helpful staff, and the comfortable room. The location was also convenient, and overall the stay was pleasant and relaxing.

Good breakfast. Good facilities. Nice view!

The layout of the property, the grounds and pool bar. Restaurant was great, buffets were generous and real value for money. The staff especially the duty manager, front desk, waiters etc were extremely helpful and courteous.

The property though was clean and comfortable seemed a bit dated. However, other aspects about the property made up for it.

The outdoor area is incredibly cute and well maintained, creating such a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. It’s exactly the kind of space where you can settle in, enjoy the scenery, and truly unwind by the pool, it’s one of the nicest parts of the property.

Firstly, the beach was closed during our stay, which meant we couldn’t enjoy it, and this wasn’t mentioned at check-in. Secondly, we were staying in the Garden Wing and, while exploring the property, we stopped by the Rasa Wing pool but were informed that access is restricted. This came as a surprise, as it wasn’t clearly communicated before booking or upon arrival.Additionally, had I known beforehand that Garden Wing guests do not have access to the Rasa Wing facilities, I may have chosen to book the Rasa Wing instead, especially since the price difference was not significant. I believe this should be clearly stated, as it can impact guests’ booking decisions.Especially with the beach being closed, I would have expected guests to be offered a bit more flexibility with the facilities. Oh, and if cocktails are priced at over 10 euros, which is quite high by Malaysian standards, it would be great to ensure that the staff are trained to prepare them well.

Service, specifically in the housekeeping side. Food. Surrounding areas around the facility such as pools, gardens and restaurants were well maintained and a joy to use.

Alrhough well kept, the rooms are starting to show their age.

the trees, the quietness, it feels really separated from the business outside, the monitor lizard, the monkeys, friendly staff, excellent food, the grounds are stunning.

The Spice Garden is a bit chaotic at breakfast, but the food is excellent. The beach bar ran out of fresh coconuts on the second day.

Our seaview room was upgraded to a nice family suite overlooking the sea

Clean and quiet resort for those who love to in touch with nature.

Beach front is smaller than expected.

Very nice personnel, well equipped apartment, varied, delicious breakfast, location on the sea coast.

Everything about this hotel was great..We check in a bit late and to our surprise we got upgraded to a suite room..Thank you Shangrila Rasa Sayang for the memories..

The downside is only the water in the shower drains a bit slow..so the water tends to flood the toilet..

the duty manager by the name of Yukesh is incompetent in handling guest's issue. Our car was covered with monkeys' excretions when we left and asked to clean up by staffs. The way he handled the issue showed his incompetence. And at the loading bay area, there was one staff by the name of Ravi was very rude and refused to come to our assistance.

the beach was so so only …. very big wave …many beautiful big tress in the hotel … good breakfast … a lot to choose … the pool was a bit small … as a resort hotel
