    Pros +

    • We were traveling by public transport so from the hungerburg bus stop it is about a 15/20 minute walk down a quiet residential street area. The location was very quiet and private and has great views of the valley. Everything about this stay was great, we hope we get to stay there again!
    • Absolutely friendly and helpful staff, and the breakfast option was amazing! Really gave you home-like classic bed and breakfast vibe that is missing these days. This place is also entirely family-run, and you can tell they put so much thought into everything.
    • Very very good place- possible needs better wifi & shower caddy.

    Cons -

    • A dinner option would have been nice
    • The location is quite far from everything, and is somewhat hard to get to easily. If you're okay with daily Bolt rides, or 40 min roundtrip walks to the nearest bus stop, then it's not a problem.
    • Most people won’t care about this one minor nit; the wifi in room 4 was barely usable. I needed to do some business and the bandwidth was minimal. Thankfully most guests aren’t there to use the internet! More extenders? More robust wifi system?A place in the shower to put my soaps would be helpful too. You’ll notice my reviews are solid 8-10/10; really enjoyed everything.

The people who work there make this a wonderful place to stay. When they saw that the day we arrived was the same fate as our registration day, they brought him a box of chocolates. The manager is fantastic! Without her help we couldn’t have found the place with no GPS

great hotel, I made a mistake with our booking and we arrived a day early...I know, don't ask... but lucky for us, there where still rooms available. the road towards the hotel is challenging at first if you take the "steep" one, but no big issues. great breakfast and very helpull staff.

Nice location both for walking and city. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.

    10MarenPosted on: 3-31-2025

Beautiful location that felt like you weren’t in the city. Lots of trails nearby, and birds singing. Also, it had the best breakfast spread I have ever seen at a hotel.

That was greater than we expected. Great location - close to the several hiking trails with different difficulty, to the mountain lift (25-30 min by walk), to the city. View is amazing, staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great with very broad variety. Everything was exceptional and wonderful. Thank you so much!

Very easy to follow instructions for self check, lovely warm rooms with comfortable beds, a very delicious breakfast. All Staff were incredibly helpful. They also allowed us to have breakfast / check out early.

Amazing breakfast with lot of options including cooked to order for a few. Very clean and spacious room with great views off the big balcony. Allowed early check in also which was helpful.

The view from the property overlooking Innsbruck, very friendly staff, lovely little room, really nice breakfast area and good parking area.

    One mattress was abit uncomfortable.

The place is truly beautiful, the view is also amazing!

Everything was really good, but I advise everyone who wants to stay in this place and visit Innsbruck that if you are on foot you’ll need to walk at least 15 to get to the nearest bus stop. We liked a little trekking, but if you’re not like us then it’s good to know.

Far from the city rush, beautiful view and lovely interiors

    9AhmedPosted on: 10-24-2024

Amazing views, cozy, and very friendly staff

Could have been nice to have an AC but only needed it for a night

    10ChristinePosted on: 10-11-2024

Couldn't fault this place! Attention to detail in everything was fabulous - from the setting, the furnishings, the breakfast to the staff. A stunning place that we would certainly want to return to.

    Absolutely nothing!

Everything was perfect !!! The rooms are all newly done, with great views of Innsbruck down the mountain. Great breakfast, free parking, just 10 min from downtown Innsbruck and close to cable car.

This property was the highlight of our little Austrian vacation. The rooms face the mountains in front and the meadows in front are blanketed with wild flowers. Our evenings were quiet and peaceful as we enjoyed the calmness of nature. There’s a massive alpine playground just outside the property which our child enjoyed the most. The rooms are nice and the rustic vibe of the whole chalet was very charming. This is a family run property who were very kind and helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast was exceptional, the presentation inspired us a lot ! We went there to get closer to nature and have a nice little peaceful getaway and weren’t disappointed. The property is close to many hiking trails so there’s a lot to explore around the area. They have a nice pool too and we dipped ourselves in the evening after a nice hike in the area. They also have a small honesty bar incase you need snacks in the evening.

There aren’t any supermarkets nearby, like none for miles as you will be on top of a hill. So plan accordingly. You need a car to get here for sure, can’t be reached with public transportation. No restaurants in the area except for one nearby ( this one stays closed on a few days of the week) or food delivery options as you will be away from the hustle bustle of the city.
