The room was newly re-done, comfortable, fine. Freezer was too iced over to fit anything in it. Oddly, while there was bottled water to make coffee (tap water way too sulfuric), the tiny packet of sugar and creamer did not include even a stir stick....
Hotel is located in a great location for our trips from California to Idaho. Great restaurant close by and cheapest gas near by. Rooms and parking area are clean

Top Tips
- Book your Lakeview hotel 2-3 months ahead for summer stays, as prices can increase by 20-30% due to outdoor events.
- Account for a 1-1.5% lodging tax in Lake County; this adds approximately $15 per night on a $200 USD room.
- Prioritize hotels within 1-2 miles of downtown Lakeview's Main Street for walkable access to amenities and lower crime rates (under 10 incidents per 1,000 residents annually).
- Verify hotel Wi-Fi speeds are at least 10-25 Mbps for remote work; consider a mobile hotspot as backup for potential outages during storms.
- Request step-free access in advance; approximately 40-50% of Lakeview hotels, including newer properties, offer these rooms upon request.
- Pack layers for Lakeview's weather, with summers reaching 85-95°F and winters dropping to 15-25°F; ask for rooms away from exterior walls to manage heating costs.
- Choose hotels with Oregon Green Lodging certification to support water conservation; these properties use 20-30% less water during dry seasons.
