- In main part of town, location.
- As a local that grew up in Modoc County, Alturas California, I truly appreciate someone taking the time to get this historical Hotel up to code as well as keep a lot of the historical significance. Our room was clean and charming.
- It has charm..all the staff I had contact with were very friendly and helpful
Cons -
- No TV, small beds.
- The hotel is old and of course somewhat rundown but it was dirty, i.e. window, doors, floors outside the main traffic area. A little bit of soap, water and elbow grease would go along way here. The upstairs where the rooms were was VERY tidy and clean
- It had steep stairs to go up to the 2nd floor.
