Hotel Schwarzer Adler Innsbruck

Has very traditional austrian flare.

Our shower did not work, bathroom lights would not go off, and AC did not work.

Location- walking distance to the city, character, friendly staff.

Would be good if it had private parking (free) & expected the room to be bigger.

Breakfast was overpriced for one bread roll. Even though we got to breakfast at 8.30 and it finished at 10am nothing was being replenished.

Breakfast was not included and no one informed us upon checking in. They only informed us that breakfast existed.

Felt like it lacked charm especially in the rooms. Rooms felt old and dated and lacked character

The hotel is lovely and very convenient to the Old Town without being in the thick of it so it had the added benefit of being quiet. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Room only has a tea kettle and instant coffee, no coffee maker. Room also was pretty warm and it was not really possible adjusting the great much.

A bit outdated, low pressure water in the shower, bathroom needs more privacy as windows are not fully covered

Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Very nice hotel in the heart of innsbruck. Rustic style yet very well looked after and with modern devices and systems. Definitely recommended.

Walking distance to old town.

You park in a public lot next door. After dark, about a block around the hotel felt less charming. Roof deck is a photo prop, not somewhere to actually go and stay, at least on off season

I liked the closeness to the old town and the girl on the reception was extremely nice and helpful.

No mugs for coffee in the room or a coffee machine, only disposable cups with little packs of Nescafé.

We got an unexpected upgrade. Since we stayed 3 nights and it rained some of the time the extra space was so appreciated and wonderful Thank you again

Away from the main tourist locations but close enough to easily get to them. Noon check out.

The location was very convenient few minutes walk to the old town with all facilities around

The room was small and the bed was very small pillows was not comfortable even the blanket was small But overall it was acceptable Another point was the parking they don’t have a private parking and they don’t have even corporation with the parking garage next to them

Over all the hotel was great. But nights were a bit challenging coz of noisy neighbors which couldn’t be addressed coz the reception shuts at 10pm
