- Room was more than basic. Walls thin and it was noisy. On a roundabout so a lot of traffic. Tv had very few channels to watch. Plain sheet on the bed and thin pillows. No blanket. carpet had interesting stain in the middle of it had grotty walls.

- The net curtains at the windows were filthy. The metal covering the carpet into the bathroom was missing and there were nails in the carpet. The paint work was dirty ie radiator,door edges and corners of the room.

The staff. The desk clerk during the day was extremely helpful. He made sure that as Americans with no knowledge of the area that we were very aware of a wide variety of things. He offered his help, suggestions, and kindness.
There was nothing I did not like. There is no air conditioning but that was to be expected as I understand many hotels in Europe do not have it. It was also a little further away from other landmarks, but public transit was easy for the most part.
