    Pros +

    • This was a charming place to stay in a good location in the old part of the city and convenient to the Sea. Excellent restaurants and artisans shops were steps away. Very helpful staff. The included breakfast was a great way to start the day.
    • This is the most charming and romantic hotel. It uses quality products such as 100% cotton and it is very clean! Having breakfast served in the room was one of our favorite memories. It was served on time and left in a basket at our door.
    • Great room, very friendly staff, perfect location, nice decoration.

    Cons -

    • Parking. Parking is not included, however, it is directly in old town and I'm not sure where you would park.
    • Shower could be stronger but that is a minor comment.
    • Although we weren’t cold in bed, the bed came with sheets only. It would have been nice to have the comfort of a duvet.Bathroom counter top was cracked and tired, a solid stone surface would be an easy fix and give a more put-together feel

Location is amazing if you are looking to explore and enjoy Marbella Old Town. This hotel has a small, family-run vibe. Staff are lovely and knowledgeable about the area.We never made it to breakfast, but appreciated the delicious self-service coffee that is available at all times, as well as bottles of water. They have an honesty system for both these items.

The location of the property is probably one of the best in all of Marbella. The hotel has authentic Spanish charm and very peaceful considering the popularity of its location. We really liked our room the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Great location in the beautiful old town. Beautiful building all very clean fresh and modern but in keeping with its original charm. Room and bathroom were spacious and nicely decorated and in good condition. Host was very welcoming and helpful.

    Nothing, everything was perfect.

The hotel is amazing, located right in the heart of the old town. The rooms are clean, cozy, and decorated in the style of those times. The owners have preserved the authenticity of the old times, which fully immerses you in the city’s history. Special thanks to the owner of the hotel — she is a very open and pleasant person who does everything for the guests. We rented two rooms. 100% recommendation!

I love the personal nature of the property and the host was amazing. We had difficulty in Marbella with pickpockets steeling my passport and credit cards. The host, Marta was so helpful in walking me through what to do with the Spanish Police and making reservations to get to Malaga by bus. She really took time with us and I appreciated this. I really loved the quaint personal nature of the hotel and how each room is unique.

The room we chose had a bathroom on a second level that did make it a bit difficult to navigate at night. Unfortunately due to the nature of our reservation via booking.com despite choosing to leave a day early the difference in our room was not refunded.

Great location, quiet, helpful staff. Nice and clean rooms.

    Location

We arrived and the room was cold no heating had been turned on on 31 December!!!! On a sad note, the heating didn't work and they gave us an electric heater to warm us up and give us a shower!!! Absurd also because at night the heater made an incredible noise and we hardly slept. Too bad because the structure is nice but you can not sleep in the cold is not acceptable ... was to demand a refund for the amount spent!!!

This was the 2nd time we booked the small studio (room 2) at this lovely much photographed boutique hotel located in the old town. The studio has separate living area from the bedroom. So plenty of space for both of us. The rooms were spotless as was the shower room where the large towels were changed daily. Its a 2 star hotel so doesnt have many extras such as coffe/tea facilitities in the room although coffee/tea can be purchased via coffee machine on the ground floor (at 1 Euro per cup in an honesty jar). We forgot to bring our kettle..oops. No hair dryer (my wife always brings her own anyway). Patrons are provided with room and hotel entry/exit keys/buzzer activators respectively. The room has a small safe. 24 hour reception is not provided.. receptionists usually finish around early evening (no problem for us)..however the receptionist kindly phoned for a taxi from her home to arrange for us to be uplifted when we were due to leave the hotel at 730am

Unfortunately on this occasion there was no hot water in our shower room for a few days during our stay...we were offered to use a separate room (4) that had a separate water heating system from that of the other rooms (we used once). Apparently for most rooms the water is heated electrically via a solar panel system presumably via an immersion heater tank/cylinder? It was still quite sunny during our stay in October so it didnt appear to be effective.

The location was fantastic. Everything on our door step in the Marbella Old Town. Room was beautiful and elegant as was the hotel. Breakfast was not included but there was a little place opposite to sit and enjoy a fabulous breakfast. Car parking less than 2 mins walk

Having the ability to make a cup of tea or hot drink would have been desirable when we came back during the day to drop all of our shopping off.

The hotel is in the perfect location if you want to stay in the old town. It's on such a picturesque street, only 10 minutes walk from the beach and right in the hear of the main area of the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful, pointing out the best places to eat and the nicest areas to explore. It was easy to get in and out of the hotel once the staff had gone home for the night and the room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Couldn't fault it!

    10VictorianoPosted on: 9-19-2024

Location is as perfect as can be. Easy nearby parking on the street free by night and on weekends. Nice surroundings. There's no breakfast in the hotel, but you can easily reach the best spot in town for "churros and chocolate" at Plaza de los Naranjos, the heart of Marbella. Beds are so good that we asked for the place they by the mattress and bought one for home. The owner is a kind and helping person. I love the cozy reading space of room 6.

It is difficult not o like something of this place. If only, I'd like it were possible to keep bright Marbella morning light out of beautiful room 6.

Location was excellent and very quaint vibe

No elevator but only two short flights of stairs so no problem really.

    9LauraPosted on: 8-23-2024

Excellent location, very clean, & cute place!

    Beds are a bit hard

    10VictorianoPosted on: 7-22-2024

The hotel is located in a beautifully redtored old house. The was large and very comfortable. Modern and nice shower. I liked the small cozy "reading" space room 6 has beside the bathroom. The room ceiling is the house original and, if you like restored old houses, spectacular. The combiof fan and air-conditioning refreshes the room very well. Despite being in the lively city center, it was very quiet. The lady in the reception was very kind and welcoming.

If you, like me, are awoken by light, bring your face mask, it is difficult to keep Marbella sunlight out of this bright beautiful room.

The bedroom had it's own small lounge area with 2 comfy chairs and a fridge. The best hotel bed I have ever slept in.Very quiet in the old town, even on the night Spain won the football.Very clean.Staff really helpful.

We’d stay here before and returned as this pretty hotel is so lovely. Perfectly located in the Old Town, it’s just a short walk from the (potentially) noisy centre. The rooms are beautiful, light and airy, very comfortable and well-maintained. Friendly staff, very relaxed and relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back again! We had rooms 2 and 3 this time, both lovely. We pre-booked parking in the nearby mercado car park (five minutes’ walk) as finding spaces on the street can be tricky.

A big bundle of laundry was on the landing throughout our stay. Not a good look and a small thing to fix.

    10SamPosted on: 6-23-2024

Nice & clean. Great location in Old Town Marbella. Walking distance to the beach & lots of restaurants.

Only a sensor light in the waldrobe which wasn't bright enough at all.
