Super breakfast, restaurant, staff, easy to find, great golf course.
A larger indoor pool and gym would have been nice, but not essential to enjoy stay.
The place in the golf absolutely beautiful, the staff excellent and the breakfast and the staff at the breakfast out standing
Our rom was very noisy as we were on the ride of the road , we could hear the cars passing by very early in the morning. Also the bathroom need some update , a little old
The staff is really excellent, helpful and friendly especially at the reception and the porter and security, a very nice experience from check in until check out to feel welcomed. The location is wonderful
The rooms are not worth the money at all. Not very luxurious. Spacious yes but I really don't like rooms with wooden floor and no carpets, not cosy at all. Bathroom is quite tired and old, towels are not luxury, amenities in the room not 5 star standard. Cleaning not so great either. The clubhouse is so so. Not the standard I would expect
Nice roomsThe bedCoffee machine in the room
No replenishment of coffee
Good locationFriendly and helpful staffReception, bar and breakfast patio area quite pleasant - varied breakfast optionsLarge roomConvenient if playing at the hotel golf courses
Dated room, which has seen better timesRoom toilet wasn’t cleaned on second day of stay (had to complain), and bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied when we first got to the roomPool lunch on first day very average and expensive - we ate elsewhere on subsequent days. Breakfast hot food not hot enough. Never had one fried egg that was hotGolf courses were ok, but not the best
Beautiful oasis of a hotelWell appointed roomsPlentiful breakfastLovely spa facilities and treatments
Room was located facing the golf course and a VERY busy road which meant we didn't enjoy sitting out on the balcony -Large trucks passing below and horrible mopedsRoom service was loud first thing in the morning, unless you have a do not disturb sign on, it's 'knock to open'Did not replenish basics like water, tea/coffee and milk unless specifically requestedHotel is an hour from the airport so factor in 100 Euro taxi fare to and from airport plus any excursions -We tried to get there by bus but impossible and although the hotel offer a shuttle they charge the same amount as a taxiUsed Uber for local trips which was fine but apparently Bolt cheaperHotel had the feel of a family resort but attracted large groups of men on 'golfing trips', and this morning walked into a pile of vomit on the front concourse -Great. Lots of drinking by the pool -Possibly a Brit thing along the south coast of Spain which unfortunately sets a precedence for us all, witnessed a young (circa 30 yo) Brit being educated on the need to wear footwear at breakfast, otherwise aimlessly walking round bare chested and bare footed whilst everyone else took the time to actually get dressed. Most likely an exception but a shame as it's a lovely resort.
The rooms are specious. Loved that.Breakfast was great too! Really enjoyed it. But if you don’t play golf -not sure you have to stay there unless you have Marriot points.
The amenities are way too old. The shower was broken and the calk around sinks and mirrors are so moldy and old
Quiet hotel and shuttle service included. Rooms were nice.
Pool serviceNo turn down service
The staff , the pool , the view
The pool was nice. The room was big and balcony was nice with a pleasant view. The breakfast was ok.
Staff were mostly rude except one.Shower in the bathroom went super hot to super cold, did not stay at same temperatureFood was mediocre.Padel courts but no balls one day, had to wait until next day when staff found some.Driving range was in the sun with no shade, it was boiling.20mins in a taxi to get to old town Marbella (advertised as 5-10mins)Kids not allowed in the gym, so what can we do in peak heat 12-3pm?? There were hornets everywhere in the resort, the kids were not happy!!Overall disappointing, this is not a 5 star resort but 4 stars really.
Big nice rooms, very good restaurant, beautiful nature all around, attentive staff.
Such a lovely hotel and smells so nice in reception and the rooms also smell so good. Beds are SO comfy - we had a super king size. Rooms are nice size and super clean. Bathrooms are dated but traditional and very clean - they have character for Spain and I really liked the old fashioned style tiles. I slept so good and room was made up daily with fresh towels, dressing gowns and slippers. So lovely. The staff are a friendly and helpful. Shuttle bus service to the marina etc was a bonus!
Such a shame as this is the only thing that lets it down. The food! The breakfast, lunch and dinner and even the pool side snacks and lunch drinks etc are poor. Can’t get a good coffee either. They have those awful machines that taste like chlorine. Apparently I wasn’t the only guest to mention this. The lunch around the pool was quite grim. I had to send back food as the salad was unwashed for example and the chicken skewers looked boiled and I actually found a fly in a yoghurt and mould on some fruit that was on a bowl of yoghurt for my baby. Such a shame as it’s honestly such a nice hotel but take snacks and use the mini bar fridge lol. We went out every night for dinner and ate snacks from the supermarket. Very expensive for their really bad food also. I’m not the only guest to mention how lovely the hotel is but the food really lets it down. Has so much potential! The location is a little annoying as there is no where you can go for a walk to restaurants etc. so get a car or get shuttle bus.
Services and staff excellent
Unable to rest well due to loud guests (connecting room makes it easier to hear others I think), faulty radio that went off at 6am. Otherwise excellent stay.
Location and room size
Delay in services, asking for things taken very long time to bring. After cleaning my room while I was away, they did not added any towels in my room. I have asked for extra towel three times and did not receive any till one day later. Dental kits were not available and they mentioned it will served upon request. I have asked for dental kits and unfortunately did not receive any till check out. Coffee machines during breakfast time are not working properly, especially if you go for breakfast at last our.
The free shuttle bus to town.
The rooms, the tired facilities and worst of all was the sub par level of food. It was so bad.
Its a lovely property, great views, amazing pool & spa
The bar closes early 12 am / did not do turn down service for our room
Rooms were spacious and very clean.Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful.Lovely spa area.Great breakfast
Slow service around pool at lunchtimes, often taking over an hour to get food. Hardly any service at beds by the pool, would be nice to not have to keep going to the bar to order.
