About

You'll have an excellent service and great links to the historic center at Hotel Italia; just a 5-minute walk from Borgo Trento Hospital, in a quiet neighborhood of Verona. The popular Piazza delle Erbe square and Juliet's balcony are just a 15-minute walk away. Your day at the Italia Hotel begins with an italian breakfast, which is served between 07:00 and 09:30. We no longer have a bar on the terrace. The terrace is a communal area where guests can relax outdoors. Each guest room comes with satellite TV. Air conditioning is available throughout the summer. The rooms are a mix of styles from classic to modern. There is only one room with a four-poster bed, and it is a Junior Suite. A highlight of the hotel is its professional and helpful team of staff. They are always on hand to share local knowledge and recommend the best places to eat and drink. WiFi is free in the rooms and in the lobby. You have excellent public transport connections to all the city's attractions. The hotel features a multifunctional meeting room for up to 60 delegates, plus a bar that is open every evening. Some rooms have a balcony and can be requested as an upgrade (for an additional fee).

    Pros +

    • Location, cleanness, comforting
    • Quiet, elegant, roof top restaurant/bar, Great location near train station. Helpful staff.
    • Location with parking garage (extra) makes parking and walking into old town very easy and safe. The location is perfect, easy to get to to and walk from. Check-in was very easy - -no surprises.

    Cons -

    • Some billing confusion that I still need to confirm.
    • Nothing, hotel was perfect for a single night before flying home to the US the next day.
    • The rooms were hot. There was a thermostat on the wall, but it didn’t work. The facilities were not available and we couldn’t use the sauna. Bed was hard.

The Breakfast buffet was delicious! Me room had a refreshing balcony also. The parking was very convenient. Hotel is only a 10 minute walk to all the major sites, so close and convenient

Very friendly staff, very nice room, ver comfortable bed with excellent sheets!

The room is very comfortable but it should have blinders or black out curtains.

Existance of garage, not too far from old city area

Extra payment for garage (25EUR per night - which was not clearly stated at Booking.com), very tight place inside garage, hard to adjust proper water temperature in the shower + weak water stream, loud air conditioning in the room

    8SmiddyPosted on: 12-11-2024

Great location close to city. Nice rooms and great breakfast. Would recommend this hotel.

    8BinshadPosted on: 10-13-2024

The staff specially Nicolo. The location was near the main city center and tourist attractions

They freeze the amount of your booking in advance whereas no other place in experience does this. The amount took a while to be reversed in my account

If you want to destroy your car in a scam Hotel.

Do not book this hotel. It is a scam. The garage is way too small, and despite having reserved a large spot, I had to use a small spot and promptly scratched my car badly on a pole that was very difficult to see. Basically all corners of the garage had marks of cars having scratched themselves. If you want to ruin your car, go ahead. One major thing. The prizes on booking look good, but then you pay everything extra. A balcony? 2 Euro per day. A quiet room? 8 Euro per day, etc. So, booking.com should not list this hotel, as the prices are not accurate. Food: The eggs for breakfast tasted awful. There is just one cheese there, one ham and - okay - one salami. But really very poor breakfast.

Very good 3 star hotel located 1.5km 15mins walk from the city centre. The room was clean and beds comfortable and a good bathroom and balcony. Breakfast was included with wide variety of continental breads, pastries fruit coffee juice etc

It would have been nice to have a shuttle bus back from the hotel after the opera we attended at the arena in the city as the show only finished at 12.30 at night and we had a 25min back to the hotel which was ok for myself and my daughter but would have been nice.

The rooms were of a good size, with the necessary facilities and were very clean. It was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast selection was not as good as we were expecting and the drinks from the drink machine was poor. There were problems with the shower head in one of the rooms. The location was about a 15 minute walk at least from the centre of Verona and we had to walk out every night as there were limited restaurants in the area.

Very good location, clean room, good breakfast. Very nice staff , especially Francesca from the reception desk.

We stayed in the BILO suite. The rooms were air-conditioned, clean, and the sheets pressed. The master bedroom had two balconies, and the stay was overall quiet, though it is in the city and so the phantom sounds of late night pre-regret are nearly unavoidable. The lobby, decor, and staff were absolutely wonderful and the large and well appointed breakfast lacked nothing. My family and I will definitely stay again :-)

Friendly staff, good breakfast and garage parking

    Slightly weaker room equipment

I have recently stayed at the Hotel Italia for 10 nights, under rather unfortunate circumstances. My husband had a heart attack while we were on holiday in Malcesine and was transferred to Borgo Trento Hospital in Verona. My priority was to find a hotel within 10 minutes walking distance of the hospital and the Hotel Italia fitted my needs perfectly. The hotel is also situated very conveniently to the centre of Verona. The Hotel Italia was the perfect choice for me. The room was very comfortable and cleaned on a daily basis and breakfast was plentiful. However, the best thing about the hotel are the staff. When I explained my circumstances to them, they were very understanding and did everything that they could to make my stay as pleasant and stress free as possible for me.There are two members of staff that I would particularly like to mention.Thank you so much to Nicolo and Francesca. Nothing was too much trouble for them, including ordering food to be delivered to the hotel for me when I returned from the hospital of an evening.I very much hope to see you again in the future under different circumstances.

    Nothing at all.Everything was perfect.

Location, ambiance, piano at the reception hall, very helpful staff

Crowded breakfast, difficult to find a table; very tight parking space

Everything was wonderful! The staff is very helpful and friendly. They increased the room category for us for free! It had robes and slippers. The hotel is pet friendly and has large parking. There was a very good breakfast. And it is situated in walk distance to the city center! So it has all that we need!

Nice hotels in a very nice part of town close to the city center and the central station. The staff was very friendly and a very good breakfast was served. The room was a bit small but comfortable. Nice bathroom and spacious shower.
