Cozy hotel and room. Within walking distance from the Verona Porta Nuova train station. Very friendly and helpful staff (reception & breakfast). At breakfast, they recognized me and prepared what I was asking for in advance.

The room controls are fully electronic but sometimes they were a bit glitchy (e.g. AC wasn't turning off from the first try). During the first night, there was a hot-water issue in the shower. However, it was fixed on the same day when I reported it.

Breakfast was not included and we did not select an add on. The staff at the front desk were all lovely and helpful. The bar/cafe did not have anyone there but the staff offered to serve a beverage in the lobby instead. The location was very good exploring Verona. We walked about 15 minutes from the train and five to fifteen minutes to a range of cafes, shops, sites, and restaurants. The staff helped us secure a taxi service for a day trip to Lake Garda and also to return to the train station. Bathroom was spacious and great shower.

I had thought the family room would have been a bit bigger but it was very comfortable and the beds were made up as two single as per our communications as we requested.

Very friendly and efficient staff, particularly with respect to accommodating our specific needs at breakfast. The location is within easy walking distance to the historic sites.

Spacious room. There was an Alexa in the room which was a nice touch. We could only lower the ac to a certain degree and no more so the room was a bit warm to our liking. It was short walk to all the attractions. We found a great BbQ truck outside of the tomb of Juliet which was just down the street that was awesome and really inexpensive dinner.

The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Our flights with full ski gear was cancelled so we had to get an early check in and special assistance with storage. Prima!

The gluten free breakfast was great.

the maximum room temperature is preset and you cannot adjust it. was a bit chilly for us at times..

Great location & very handsome buffet breakfast to set you up for the day. Room very clean & comfortable with a kettle & a fridge as standard. Staff very friendly & helpful & reception was staffed 24 hours.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this hotel and we certainly would return.

The kettle was small and made of plastic.the fridge was very small so I couldn't save my food inside.

Excellent location, it was one of the very few hotels in the old city, right outside of the ZTL (restricted traffic area), where you can leave your car in front of the hotel and then walk to all the historical sights. There are parking places in the street, they look safe, and the lady at the reception was very kind to help us with a free parking voucher that we had to place in the car under the windshield.

They have an Alexa in every room, in theory you would be able to control lights, temperature, play music, ask questions about the hotel and so on. We played with it, we had a bit of fun, but it was really a gimmick, nothing really works. The touch scren of the temperature control on the wall was also not working well, and with the A/C blasting on max cold by default, it took me a while to figure out how to set a more pleasant atmosphere. I would have much preferred to have just a very simple thermostat and not all this high tech system that proves to be hard to use.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable with good-sized rooms. But it is a quite a walk from the main tourist areas that one normally visits in Verona. Would have given this hotel a solid 9 if it were in a better location closer to the tourist traps. Walking is not really a problem for me, but I was with a 6-year old boy who could not take such a distance, both ways everyday.

Location

I had a superior room with a lovely quiet private terrace, two chairs and a table to sit out with. The location of the hotel within 7 minutes walk of the Roman arena was perfect too, very convenient for sightseeing and for going to events in the arena and for sightseeing. The Roman Theatre across the Ponte Pietra bridge is around a 25 minute walk but the city is safe to walk around in late at night as I did on my own after another summer event.

The hot breakfast items could have been hotter but this is a very minor thing.

The room was a good size for three. The bathroom was very nice and very clean. It's location os perfect. Great value for money

Building renovated to good standard adequate communal area.

Check in staff weren’t very welcoming on our check out. There was mentioned of breakfast discount on our first day but not when we check out. Triple room smaller than pictured, small for three people. Ran out of shower gel on second day without refill.
