Pros +
- The rooms were beautiful, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent with many options. The location was central and very close to both Delle Erbe & Bra, the two main areas. Shopping and restaurants were very close.
- Very well located. Walking distance from the most important tourists attractions from Verona.
- The hotel is near piazza Bra and 15 to 30 minutes walk to any sight in the old Verona. At the same time, it's a bit hidden from the epicenter of tourist craze, what I like a lot. The breakfast was exceptionally tasty and very nourishing too. And the rooms was cosy, I really loved to spend time there relaxing
Cons -
- Loved this hotel and there were no cons. The staff were friendly and professional with a sense of humor. Highly recommend.
- The heating could not be turned off so the rooms were super dry, hot and stuffy.. There was also too much noise on the streets to open the windows, which was a very uncomfortable combination. The hotel is nice, but value for money-wise it’s too expensive given the poor maintenance and out-dated style.
- Hotel needs to be renovated.Poor breakfast.Overpriced

High class hotel. Perfect location and reasonable price. Will stay here again. Staff were awesome.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely wonderful — perfect for exploring the area and fully immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the city. The hotel itself has a very interesting historical interior, which creates a truly romantic and elegant ambiance. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive, making the stay feel warm and comfortable from the very beginning. The room was very clean and cozy, and pleasantly warm, which was especially appreciated. I was also impressed by the high-quality and refined bathroom amenities — a lovely detail that made the stay feel even more special.
Overall, I was very satisfied with everything. If I had to mention one small point for improvement, it would be that the breakfast selection could be a bit more varied. However, this did not significantly affect my overall experience, which was excellent.

Location right off Square and Arena. Quiet and clean. Freshened old style Italian Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Had a nice chat with the owner.
Weather a little chilly in November.
It was the perfect Italian style hotel, cozy and chic. The location was unbelievable, only 1 min walk to the opera with many restaurants/bars and shops. Will definitely come again!
Beautiful old hotel, clean spacious, quiet. Lovely beds
The room was small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was polite and helpful at all times
The room was described on Booking com as being air conditioned. Clients should be told in advance that the air conditioning will be turned off during their stay. The first night our room was hot and stuffy. We had to open the window over a very noisy street. The second night we were moved to a quieter room where we managed to get some sleep.
I accidentally booked a single room. This room was so small I had to ask for a side table to be removed so I could open my suitcase on the floor. The bed was the smallest and hardest bed I've stayed in since I was a little kid. I did not sleep at all well that night. Luckily for me, there was a leak in the shower nozzle, which I did tell them about, because of the direction of the water. They fixed it the next morning, and, I was upgraded to a much, much nicer room. It was with a large bed, and super comfy. There were angels on the wall holding some kind of organza material making a decoration over the bed... it felt like I'd been blessed by the Divine that I didn't have to stay in that other room any more. I was so, so grateful for that water glitch!!! I thought the breakfast was pretty good, lots of variety, and good juices and coffees. I liked the fruit salad and there were cheeses and regular salad, but only hard boiled eggs, and no option for fried. I think they had scrambled in the bain marie, with some sausages. I don't usually eat anything from those, though, because I tend to slip into breakfast right before they close and the eggs etc will likely have been there 3+ hours... I thought everyone on reception was helpful and professional, or, all the way to friendly and chatty. I was very glad to be able to park so easily and the location is very, very good in my opinion. I was able to walk the entire part of the old city from the central base of the hotel. A lot of people these days are choosing to stay in self-catered, private apartments... what they miss out on is the personalised service and local knowledge of a really experienced, helpful Concierge.
The young ladies in the breakfast room on the second day were less friendly and less experienced than on the first day, and I wished at the time, the kind and thoughtful ladies were there. I wish I'd taken a bit more care with my initial booking! Great value for money, though, if you don't have a lot of luggage!!
Very friendly staff, great location right by the area but wasnt noisy either.
More plugs needed especially near the bed. Breakfast at n earlier time on weekdays.
The property is very nice and cleanThe staff is very friendly and helpfulThe breakfast was goodThe location is excellent
Very convenient for the Arena, Piazza Brà and many restaurants. Nice courtyard garden, where we could enjoy a pre-dinner drink. Breakfast was typical Italian, with a good choice.
Bottles being emptied into bins below our window late at night and then the bins being emptied in the morning.
Fantastic staffQuietOld school but excellent Great breakfast
Beautiful hotel, tasty breakfast, fantastic service !
Sound-proof requires improvement
It was centrally located & staff were friendly and helpful.
It was a bit tired and grubby. We had difficulty sleeping because of the noise from the street. Garden area needs improving
