    Pros +

    • The efficient and helpful staff. The excellent position close to the Roman Area, main historic district, restaurants and the park where the Christmas markets were held. We got to the arena easily by bus ( from outside the railway station) and the directions from the hotel were clear so we arrived at the hotel quickly. The hotel reception stayed open late should we have needed that facility and they provided us with a useful paper map of Verona !
    • Location very good
    • Excellent hotel right in the heart of the city. The room was spacious and warm, even at the end of December. The staff were friendly and helpful! Breakfast is served on the veranda, so it’s best to dress warmly in winter, as it’s under a tent with heaters. The menu is simple, but everything is fresh and tasty. We’ll be happy to come back again!

    Cons -

    • The room we had backed onto a side street which was a little noisy at night ( we stayed from Friday to Saturday)
    • The kitchen is very near and the room smells always from the cooking
    • Honestly we were happy! Elevator, safe, even called us a taxi upon request, mini bar. Just use ear plugs if you’re a lighter sleeper for late night bottle dumps that are done in the alley nearby!

The staff were all so kind! We needed a place that was more of a pit stop stay in between travels and to see Verona. The location is so perfect, the breakfast was great: croissants, salami, cheese, cakes, boiled eggs, even scrambled eggs to order and coffee/cafe/cappuccino to order, fruits, toast, yogurts etc. The hotel is dated but you understand this when you book. I personally love and appreciate the dated feel, it adds to the ambiance and also you appreciate the price you’re able to stay so close to the main Verona Piazza.Ear plugs help for the mid-night garbage dumps and thinner walls if you’re a lighter sleeper. We did get a room with a shower with a semi-see-thru glass to the room with minimal privacy, but there was an additional shower in the hallway for all hotel guests private use if needed. We were happy and enjoyed our stay! Grazie Millie!

Courteous staff, my flight landed late in evening and usually the front desk closes by 11 but considering my flight timing a person remained available to help me with check in.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has older equipment, but at a very good price, situated in center, around there are many restaurants, monuments, everything you need. Friendly staff, great breakfast, excellent coffee. I really liked it there. Thank you!

Perfect location. 100m walk to the Piazza and Arena. Very easy 20 min walk from the train station. Ground floor reception. So easy to check in. Lift to upper floors. Staff were amazing. Rooms very spacious and clean. Delicious breakfast. Very affordable. Comfortable single beds. My brother and I were travelling together. We will be back and will highly recommend to friends.

    Nothing. It was perfect.

The hotel is basic and the rooms are a little dated, but spotlessly clean and in an excellent location. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. They upgraded my room without asking at no extra cost so I could be next to my family. As long as your expectations are clear that this is no frills, it’s an excellent find and good value for money in a brilliant position. Very happy - just as expected. Would stay again.

Close to the Arena and public transport. Easy to find with a lift.Staff very helpful.

Noisy street with restaurant chatter at night and bins being emptied every morning at 5.30am

    9PhilrisPosted on: 10-21-2025

Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff. Very nice breakfast. Just right for a short city break.

City centre location often comes with a bit of noise at night, but this is to be expected. Late night revellers echoing in the narrow streets and then deliveries are bin collections in the early hours - and the cobbled streets don't help.

    Great locationBreakfast was lovely

The room was very dated and needs a good makeover

Fantastic location , the staff we’re absolutely lovely and could not have been more helpful! Excellent breakfast!!

    10GeoffreyPosted on: 9-20-2025

Breakfast excellent , very good scrambled eggs plus very good choice incl availability of espresso’s . Staff including house keeping very good . Everyone friendly.

Air conditioning let the hotel down , just not working properly. We were on third floor so under the roof . Fix the air conditioning & I would give the hotel 100 %

Breakfast outside was excellent. Perfect location.

    No Tea/coffee machine in room.

    8PrudencePosted on: 9-6-2025

Central position, friendly and helpful staff, comfy bed, good breakfast.

Unavoidable noise from revellers outside. Furnishings a little “tired”.

    9HeatherPosted on: 9-4-2025

Location was absolutely perfect for arena , food and sightseeing Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable Breakfast was continental, good selection Great with my mum who has motability issues

Bar area was small and no where really to sit but I can understand it’s an old building and space is premium in the heart of the city

    8SandyPosted on: 8-27-2025

Lovely staff. Great location, very close to arena. Comfortable, clean room.

Air conditioner in room dripped all night, I thought I had spilled a bottle of water in the morning!
